那創山、造風、將心意指示人、使晨光變為幽暗、腳踏在地之高處的，他的名是耶和華－萬軍之神。

海裏忽然起了暴風，甚至船被波浪掩蓋；耶穌卻睡着了。門徒來叫醒了他，說：「主啊，救我們，我們喪命啦！」耶穌說：「你們這小信的人哪，為甚麼膽怯呢？」於是起來，斥責風和海，風和海就大大地平靜了。眾人希奇，說：「這是怎樣的人？連風和海也聽從他了！」

他使雲霧從地極上騰，造電隨雨而閃，從府庫中帶出風來。

有風從耶和華那裏颳起，把鵪鶉由海面颳來，飛散在營邊和營的四圍；這邊約有一天的路程，那邊約有一天的路程，離地面約有二肘。

你叫風一吹，海就把他們淹沒；他們如鉛沉在大水之中。

這時，微微起了南風，他們以為得意，就起了錨，貼近克里特行去。不多幾時，狂風從島上撲下來；那風名叫「友拉革羅」。船被風抓住，敵不住風，我們就任風颳去。貼着一個小島的背風岸奔行，那島名叫高大，在那裏僅僅收住了小船。既然把小船拉上來，就用纜索捆綁船底，又恐怕在賽耳底沙灘上擱了淺，就落下篷來，任船飄去。我們被風浪逼得甚急，第二天眾人就把貨物拋在海裏。到第三天，他們又親手把船上的器具拋棄了。太陽和星辰多日不顯露，又有狂風大浪催逼，我們得救的指望就都絕了。

摩西就向埃及地伸杖，那一晝一夜，耶和華使東風颳在埃及地上；到了早晨，東風把蝗蟲颳了來。

耶和華轉了極大的西風，把蝗蟲颳起，吹入紅海；在埃及的四境連一個也沒有留下。
