『我卻要使北方的蝗蟲隊遠離你們；我必趕逐牠們到乾旱荒涼之地，使其前隊入東海，其後隊入西海；使其臭氣上升，其腥味上騰，因為牠們幹了大壞事了。

我將移北軍遠離爾、驅至旱乾荒蕪之地、前鋒入於東海、後隊入於西海、其臭上升、其腥上騰、以其行大事也、

敵人至自北方、妄自尊大、其前茅則向東海、其後勁則向西海、我必掃除之、驅逐於曠野、使其臭氣流布、腥聞於上、

惟彼北軍、北軍或作從北而來之軍我將使之遠離爾、我驅逐於旱乾沙漠之地、前隊向東海、後隊向西海、既行大害、其臭流布、其腥騰空、

“ I will drive the northern horde far from you, pushing it into a parched and barren land; its eastern ranks will drown in the Dead Sea and its western ranks in the Mediterranean Sea. And its stench will go up; its smell will rise.” Surely he has done great things!

“ I will drive far away from you the army that comes from the north. I will send some of its forces into a dry and empty land. Its eastern troops will drown in the Dead Sea. Its western troops will drown in the Mediterranean Sea. Their dead bodies will stink.” The Lord has done great things.

“ I will remove the northerner far from you, and drive him into a parched and desolate land, his vanguard into the eastern sea, and his rear guard into the western sea; the stench and foul smell of him will rise, for he has done great things.

I will drive away these armies from the north. I will send them into the parched wastelands. Those in the front will be driven into the Dead Sea, and those at the rear into the Mediterranean. The stench of their rotting bodies will rise over the land.” Surely the Lord has done great things!

I will drive the northerner far from you and banish him to a dry and desolate land, his front ranks into the Dead Sea, and his rear guard into the Mediterranean Sea. His stench will rise; yes, his rotten smell will rise, for he has done astonishing things.

But I will remove the northern army far from you, And I will drive it into a dry and desolate land, Its advance guard into the eastern sea, And its rear guard into the western sea. And its stench will ascend and its odor of decay will come up, Because it has done great things.”

“ But I will remove far from you the northern army, And will drive him away into a barren and desolate land, With his face toward the eastern sea And his back toward the western sea; His stench will come up, And his foul odor will rise, Because he has done monstrous things.”

but I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive it into a land barren and desolate, its forepart into the eastern sea, and its hinder part into the western sea; and its stench shall come up, and its ill savor shall come up, because it hath done great things.

I will drive the northerner far from you and banish him to a dry and desolate land, his front ranks into the Dead Sea, and his rear guard into the Mediterranean Sea. His stench will rise; yes, his rotten smell will rise, for he has done catastrophic things.

But I will remove far off from you the northern[ army], and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.

I will remove the one from the north far from you. I will drive him out to a dry and desolate place. Those in front will be driven eastward into the Dead Sea, and those in back westward into the Mediterranean Sea. His stench will rise up as a foul smell.” Indeed, the LORD has accomplished great things.

But I will remove the northern army far away from you, and will drive it into a barren and desolate land, its front into the eastern sea, and its back into the western sea; and its stench will come up, and its bad smell will rise.” Surely he has done great things.

到那日，必有活水從耶路撒冷流出來；一半流往東海，另一半流往西海；冬天夏天都是這樣。

你們腳掌所踏的地，都必屬於你們；從曠野到黎巴嫩，從幼發拉底河直到西海，都要作你們的境界。

他們被殺的必被拋棄在外面，屍體的臭氣上騰，眾山都被他們的血所溶化。

東面的地界是在浩蘭和大馬士革之間，基列和以色列地之間的約旦河。你們要從北面的地界量到東海（“你們要從北面的地界量到東海”或參照《敘利亞文古譯本》翻譯為“伸界到東海，以至他瑪”），這是東面的地界。

耶和華轉了非常強大的西風，把蝗蟲吹起來了，投進紅海裡；在埃及全境，連一隻蝗蟲也沒留下。

耶和華對我說：“必有災禍從北方發出，臨到這地所有的居民。看哪！我要呼召北方列國的眾族，他們要來，各人在耶路撒冷的城門口，設立自己的座位，攻擊耶路撒冷周圍的城牆，又攻擊猶大各城鎮。”這是耶和華的宣告。

那日是黑暗幽冥的日子，是密雲漆黑的日子。有一隊眾多強盛的民來到，好像晨光滿布群山；這樣的事從前沒有發生過，以後直到萬代，也不會發生。在他們前面有吞滅的火，在他們後面有燃燒的火燄；他們未到以前，大地像伊甸園，他們過去以後，大地成了荒涼的曠野，沒有一樣能逃避他們的。他們的形狀像馬的形狀，戰馬怎樣奔跑，他們也怎樣奔跑。他們在群山頂上跳躍的聲音，如戰車的響聲，又如火燄吞滅碎稭的響聲，像強盛的民擺陣預備作戰。在他們面前，萬民苦惱，人人臉紅耳赤。他們奔跑像勇士，又像戰士爬上城牆；他們各按自己的路前行，並不偏離路線。他們彼此不擁擠，各按自己的道前行；甚至他們持著兵器跌倒，也不會被剪除。他們衝入城鎮，奔上城牆，爬進房屋，像盜賊一樣從窗戶爬進去。在他們面前，大地震動，諸天搖撼，日月昏暗，星星無光。耶和華在他的軍隊前頭發出聲音；他的隊伍極大，成就他話語的，是強盛的人。耶和華的日子偉大，非常可畏，誰能忍受得住呢？

以色列家要用七個月的時間去埋葬他們，為要潔淨那地。那地所有的人民都必埋葬他們。這是我得榮耀的日子，以色列人也必因此得享美名。這是主耶和華的宣告。他們必分派人經常遍行那地，與過路的人一起埋葬那些還留在地面上的屍體，為要潔淨那地；過了七個月，他們還要繼續搜索。他們遍行那地，見有人的骸骨，就在旁邊立個標記，等埋葬的人來把骸骨葬在哈們．歌革谷。那裡也有一座城名叫哈摩那。他們必這樣潔淨那地。’

我回來以後，看見河這邊和那邊的岸上有很多樹木。他又對我說：“這水要向東方的地區流出去，下到亞拉巴，流入死海。這水流入死海，就使海裡的水變淡（“變淡”原文作“得醫治”）。

剪蟲剩下的，蝗蟲吃了；蝗蟲剩下的，蝻子吃了；蝻子剩下的，螞蚱吃了。酒醉的人哪！你們要醒過來；要哀哭！所有嗜酒的人哪！你們都要為甜酒哀號，因為甜酒從你們的口裡斷絕了。因為有一民族上來侵犯我的國土，他們強大又無數；他們的牙齒像獅子的牙齒，他們有母獅的大牙。

哈薛說：“你僕人算甚麼？不過是一條狗罷了；怎可以作這樣的大事呢？”以利沙說：“耶和華已指示我，你要作王統治亞蘭。”
