要聚集人民，使大眾潔淨自己為聖；要招聚老年人，聚集孩童，以及在母懷嗍奶的；要叫新郎出洞房，叫新婦離開內室。

Gather the people, consecrate the assembly; bring together the elders, gather the children, those nursing at the breast. Let the bridegroom leave his room and the bride her chamber.

Bring them together. Set all of them apart to me. Bring together the elders. Gather the children and the babies who are still nursing. Let the groom leave his bedroom. Let the bride leave their marriage bed.

那時猶大眾人都站在永恆主面前，連他們的小孩和妻子兒女也都一起站着。

除了出於同意、或者暫時分房、以便專務禱告、之外，總不要相虧負，仍然還要同在一處，免得撒但因你們不能節制、而試誘你們。

對他們說：『利未人哪，你們要聽我說；現在你們要潔淨自己為聖，也使永恆主你們列祖之上帝的殿潔淨為聖，從聖所中把污穢之物拿出來。

連挨近永恆主的祭司也要潔淨自己為聖，恐怕永恆主突破界限來擊殺他們。』

他說：『平安；我是給永恆主獻祭來的；你們要潔淨自己為聖、來跟我赴祭筵。』撒母耳就叫耶西和他兒子們潔淨為聖，請他赴祭筵。

永恆主又對摩西說：『你往人民那裏去，叫他們今天明天要潔淨為聖，洗淨自己的衣裳；

宴飲的日子輪完了，約伯總打發人去叫他們來，使他們潔淨自己為聖；他往往在早晨時候清早起來，按着他們幾人的數目獻上燔祭；因為約伯說：『萬一我兒子犯了罪，心裏謗讟上帝呢。』每逢這個日子、約伯總是這樣行的。

他對人民說：『要豫備好了、來赴第三天；不可接觸女人。』

在大眾中有許多人還沒有潔淨自己為聖，所以利未人有責任為一切不潔淨的人宰逾越節的羊羔，使他們在永恆主面前成為聖潔。

當那日耶路撒冷必有很大的號哭，如同米吉多平原上哈達臨門的號哭一樣。全國都必號哭，一家一家獨在一處：大衛族的家獨在一處，他們的婦女們獨在一處；拿單族的家獨在一處，他們的婦女們獨在一處；利未族的家獨在一處，他們的婦女們獨在一處；示每人的家獨在一處，他們的婦女們獨在一處；其餘眾家族都一家一家獨在一處，他們的婦女們獨在一處。

你起來，叫人民潔淨自己為聖，對他們說：「你們要潔淨自己為聖，以備明天；因為永恆主以色列的上帝這麼說：以色列啊，你們中間有該被毁滅歸神之物；非等到你們使該被毁滅歸神之物離開你們中間，你們在仇敵面前、就立不住。

日頭如新郎出洞房，如勇士高興地跑路。

要行聖禮擬定禁食，宣告聖節會哦；要聚集眾長老、國中一切居民到你們的上帝永恆主的殿，向永恆主哀呼哦。

又出通告傳遍尼尼微說：『王和大臣有諭旨說：人和牲口、牛羣羊羣、甚麼都不可嘗，草不可喫，水也不可喝。人和牲口都要披上麻布；要極力呼求上帝；各人要回轉過來、離開他的壞行徑，丟棄手中的強暴；

耶穌對他們說：『儘新郎跟賀喜的朋友在一起的時候，賀喜的朋友何必哀慟呢？但是日子必到，新郎一從他們中間被取去，那時他們就要禁食了。

『今日你們眾人都在永恆主你們的上帝面前站立着：你們的族長、長老、官吏、以色列所有的男丁、你們的小孩、妻子、和你營中的寄居者，連給你撿柴的、帶給你打水的、都站立着，

你們要宰逾越節的羊羔，潔淨自己為聖，為你們的族弟兄豫備一切，好照永恆主的話、由摩西經手所吩咐的、來行。

又把作解罪祭的公山羊牽進前來到王和大眾面前，王和大眾就給羊按手；祭司便宰了羊，將血獻在祭壇上作為解罪祭，為以色列眾人除罪；因為王吩咐要為以色列眾人獻上燔祭和解罪祭。
