Put on sackcloth, you priests, and mourn; wail, you who minister before the altar. Come, spend the night in sackcloth, you who minister before my God; for the grain offerings and drink offerings are withheld from the house of your God.

Priests, put on the clothing of sadness and mourn. Cry, you who serve at the altar. Come, you who serve my God in the temple. Spend the night dressed in the clothes of sadness. Weep because no one brings grain offerings and drink offerings to the house of your God anymore.

Put on sackcloth and lament, O priests; wail, O ministers of the altar. Go in, pass the night in sackcloth, O ministers of my God! Because grain offering and drink offering are withheld from the house of your God.

我的民哪，你当哀号，像处女腰束麻布，为幼年的丈夫哀号。素祭和奠祭从耶和华的殿中断绝；侍奉耶和华的祭司都悲哀。

因此，你们当腰束麻布，大声哀号，因为耶和华的烈怒没有向我们转消。

尼尼微人信服神，便宣告禁食，从最大的到至小的都穿麻衣。这信息传到尼尼微王的耳中，他就下了宝座，脱下朝服，披上麻布，坐在灰中。他又使人遍告尼尼微通城，说：“王和大臣有令，人不可尝什么，牲畜、牛羊不可吃草，也不可喝水。人与牲畜都当披上麻布；人要切切求告神。各人回头离开所行的恶道，丢弃手中的强暴。

亚哈听见这话，就撕裂衣服，禁食，身穿麻布，睡卧也穿着麻布，并且缓缓而行。

侍奉耶和华的祭司要在廊子和祭坛中间哭泣，说：“耶和华啊，求你顾惜你的百姓，不要使你的产业受羞辱，列邦管辖他们。为何容列国的人说：‘他们的神在哪里呢？’”

“我要为山岭哭泣悲哀，为旷野的草场扬声哀号；因为都已干焦，甚至无人经过。人也听不见牲畜鸣叫，空中的飞鸟和地上的野兽都已逃去。

要用麻布束腰，被战兢所盖；各人脸上羞愧，头上光秃。

因为这话所指的人本属别的支派，那支派里从来没有一人伺候祭坛。我们的主分明是从犹大出来的；但这支派，摩西并没有提到祭司。

他叫我们能承当这新约的执事，不是凭着字句，乃是凭着精意；因为那字句是叫人死，精意是叫人活。

所以大卫为这孩子恳求神，而且禁食，进入内室，终夜躺在地上。

人应当以我们为基督的执事，为神奥秘事的管家。

你们岂不知为圣事劳碌的就吃殿中的物吗？伺候祭坛的就分领坛上的物吗？

反倒在各样的事上表明自己是神的用人，就如在许多的忍耐、患难、穷乏、困苦、

要把这些东西做的素祭带到耶和华面前，并奉给祭司，带到坛前。祭司要从素祭中取出作为纪念的，烧在坛上，是献与耶和华为馨香的火祭。素祭所剩的要归给亚伦和他的子孙。这是献与耶和华的火祭中为至圣的。

这些是在月朔的燔祭和同献的素祭，并常献的燔祭与同献的素祭，以及照例同献的奠祭以外，都作为馨香的火祭献给耶和华。”

他们是基督的仆人吗？（我说句狂话，）我更是。我比他们多受劳苦，多下监牢，受鞭打是过重的，冒死是屡次有的。

你们倒要称为耶和华的祭司；人必称你们为我们神的仆役。你们必吃用列国的财物，因得他们的荣耀自夸。
