If it is a contest of strength, behold, he is mighty! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon him?

若論能力、彼則云我在此、若言訊鞫、彼則雲誰定期、

欲以力爭、彼力過我、欲以理諭、誰為折中。

若論力、其力至大、若論審鞫、孰能為我定期、至天主前自訴、

If it is a matter of strength, he is mighty! And if it is a matter of justice, who can challenge him?

If it’s a matter of strength, he is mighty! And if it’s a matter of being fair, who would dare to bring charges against him?

If it’s a question of strength, he’s the strong one. If it’s a matter of justice, who dares to summon him to court?

If it is a matter of strength, look, he is the powerful one! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon him?

If it is a matter of power, behold, He is the strong one! And if it is a matter of justice, who can summon Him?

If it is a matter of strength, indeed He is strong; And if of justice, who will appoint my day in court?

If we speak of strength, lo, he is mighty! And if of justice, Who, saith he, will summon me?

If it is a matter of strength, look, He is the Mighty One! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon Him?

If[ I speak] of strength, lo,[ he is] strong: and if of judgment, who shall set me a time[ to plead]?

If it is a matter of strength, most certainly he is the strong one! And if it is a matter of justice, he will say,‘ Who will summon me?’

If it is a matter of strength, behold, he is mighty! If of justice,‘ Who,’ says he,‘ will summon me?’

He is wise in heart and mighty in strength— who has hardened himself against him, and succeeded?—

For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

For he is not a man, as I am, that I might answer him, that we should come to trial together.There is no arbiter between us, who might lay his hand on us both.

Answer me, if you can; set your words in order before me; take your stand.Behold, I am toward God as you are; I too was pinched off from a piece of clay.Behold, no fear of me need terrify you; my pressure will not be heavy upon you.

Oh, that I had one to hear me!( Here is my signature! Let the Almighty answer me!) Oh, that I had the indictment written by my adversary!

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

“ But you are full of the judgment on the wicked; judgment and justice seize you.Beware lest wrath entice you into scoffing, and let not the greatness of the ransom turn you aside.Will your cry for help avail to keep you from distress, or all the force of your strength?

Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God,

Shall we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?

Have you an arm like God, and can you thunder with a voice like his?“ Adorn yourself with majesty and dignity; clothe yourself with glory and splendor.
