It is He who does great things, the unfathomable, And wondrous works without number.

我樂意把至高的神向我所行的神蹟奇事宣揚出來。他的神蹟多麼偉大，他的奇事多麼有力；他的國是永遠的國，他的統治直到萬代！（本章第1~3節在《馬索拉文本》為3:31~33）

獨行奇事的以色列的神，就是耶和華神，是應當稱頌的。

願榮耀歸給神，就是歸給那能照著運行在我們裡面的大能，充充足足地成就一切，超過我們所求所想的。

你們向天舉目吧！看是誰創造了這些萬象？是誰按著數目把萬象領出來，一一指名呼喚？因他的大能大力，連一個也不缺少。雅各啊！你為甚麼這樣說；以色列啊！你為甚麼埋怨說：“我的道路向耶和華隱藏，我的案件被我的神忽略了”？你不知道嗎？你沒有聽過嗎？永在的神、耶和華、地極的創造主既不疲乏，也不困倦；他的知識無法測度。

神的豐富、智慧和知識，是多麼高深啊！他的判斷是多麼難測，他的道路是多麼難尋！

他使萬事各按其時，成為美好；他又把永恆的意識放在人的心裡；雖然這樣，人還是不能察覺神自始至終的作為。

耶和華啊，萬神之中有誰像你呢？有誰像你榮耀聖潔，可頌可畏，施行奇事呢？

我的口要述說你的公義，終日講述你的救恩，儘管我不知道它們的數量。

他以能力攪動大海，以聰明擊傷拉哈伯。他以自己的氣使天晴朗，他的手刺穿逃跑的蛇。這些不過是他的作為的一點點，我們從他那裡所聽到的，是多麼的微小！他大能的雷聲誰能夠明白呢？”

要稱謝那獨行大奇事的，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。

論到全能者，我們無法把他查出；他大有能力與公平，又滿有公義，他必不苦待人。
