You inspect him every morning, and put him to the test every moment.

責之無間日、試之無已時。

每晨察之、時時試之、

that you examine them every morning and test them every moment?

You check up on them every morning. You test them every moment.

He fed you in the wilderness with manna that your fathers had not known, in order to humble and test you, so that in the end He might cause you to prosper.

My dwelling is plucked up and removed from me like a shepherd’s tent. I have rolled up my life like a weaver; He cuts me off from the loom. You make an end of me from day until night.I thought until the morning: He will break all my bones like a lion; You make an end of me day and night.

You must not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the fathers’ sin, to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,

After these things God tested Abraham and said to him,“ Abraham!”“ Here I am,” he answered.

I will put this third through the fire; I will refine them as silver is refined and test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say: They are My people, and they will say: Yahweh is our God.”

Do You really take notice of one like this? Will You bring me into judgment against You?

Now go, lead the people to the place I told you about; see, My angel will go before you. But on the day I settle accounts, I will hold them accountable for their sin.”

Therefore, this is what the Lord of Hosts says: I am about to refine them and test them, for what else can I do because of My dear people?

The dead do not live; departed spirits do not rise up. Indeed, You have visited and destroyed them; You have wiped out all memory of them.

Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; none of the wicked will understand, but the wise will understand.
