Are you trying to correct what I’m saying? Are you treating my hopeless words like nothing but wind?

Do you think that you can reprove words, when the speech of a despairing man is wind?

Do you think your words are convincing when you disregard my cry of desperation?

Do you intend to rebuke my words, When the words of one in despair belong to the wind?

Do you intend to rebuke my words, And the speeches of a desperate one, which are as wind?

Do ye think to reprove words, Seeing that the speeches of one that is desperate are as wind?

Do you think that you can disprove my words or that a despairing man’s words are mere wind?

Do ye imagine to reprove words, and the speeches of one that is desperate,[ which are] as wind?

Do you intend to criticize mere words, and treat the words of a despairing man as wind?

Do you intend to reprove words, since the speeches of one who is desperate are as wind?

How long will you go on saying these things? Your words are a blast of wind.

Then we will no longer be little children, tossed by the waves and blown around by every wind of teaching, by human cunning with cleverness in the techniques of deceit.

Surely the arrows of the Almighty have pierced me; my spirit drinks their poison. God’s terrors are arrayed against me.

Would you really challenge my justice? Would you declare me guilty to justify yourself?

May the day I was born perish, and the night that said,“ A boy is conceived.”If only that day had turned to darkness! May God above not care about it, or light shine on it.May darkness and gloom reclaim it, and a cloud settle over it. May what darkens the day terrify it.If only darkness had taken that night away! You asked,“ Who is this who conceals my counsel with ignorance?” Surely I spoke about things I did not understand, things too wondrous for me to know.

For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”

Indeed, you have instructed many and have strengthened weak hands.Your words have steadied the one who was stumbling and braced the knees that were buckling.

Who is this who obscures my counsel with ignorant words?
