Have I said,‘ Give me something,’ Or,‘ Offer a bribe for me from your wealth,’

我岂说：请你们供给我，从你们的财物中送礼物给我？

我岂说：‘请你们供给我，从你们的财物中送礼给我’？

我岂说：‘请你们供给我，从你们的财物中送礼给我’？

我何尝对你们说过，‘请你们供应我，把你们的财产给我一份，

难道我说过‘请供给我’，或说‘取你们的财物馈赠我’吗？

我豈說：請你們供給我，從你們的財物中送禮物給我？

我豈說：『請你們供給我，從你們的財物中送禮給我』？

我豈說：『請你們供給我，從你們的財物中送禮給我』？

我何嘗對你們說過，『請你們供應我，把你們的財產給我一份，

難道我說過‘請供給我’，或說‘取你們的財物餽贈我’嗎？

我何曾說：「請供給我」？或說：「從你們的財力中送私禮給我」呢？

我豈雲供我、或以物餽我、

我豈欲爾供給、饋我以貨財。

我何嘗求爾供給我、何嘗欲爾以貨財為我行賄、以貨財為我行賄或作為我盡力行賄

Have I ever said,‘ Give something on my behalf, pay a ransom for me from your wealth,

I’ve never said,‘ Give me something to help me. Use your wealth to set me free.

Have I said,‘ Make me a gift’? Or,‘ From your wealth offer a bribe for me’?

But why? Have I ever asked you for a gift? Have I begged for anything of yours for myself?

Have I ever said,“ Give me something” or“ Pay a bribe for me from your wealth”

Did I ever say,‘ Bring something to me’? Or,‘ Offer a bribe for me from your wealth’?

Did I say, Give unto me? Or, Offer a present for me of your substance?

Have I ever said:“ Give me something” or“ Pay a bribe for me from your wealth”

Did I say, Bring unto me? or, Give a reward for me of your substance?

“ Have I ever said,‘ Give me something, and from your fortune make gifts in my favor’?

Did I say,‘ Give to me?’ or,‘ Offer a present for me from your substance?’

Then all his brothers, all his sisters, and all who had known him before came to him, and they ate bread with him in his house; and they sympathized with him and comforted him for all the adversities that the Lord had brought on him. And each one gave him a piece of money, and each a ring of gold.

Here I am; testify against me before the Lord and His anointed. Whose ox have I taken, or whose donkey have I taken, or whom have I exploited? Whom have I oppressed, or from whose hand have I taken a bribe to close my eyes with it? I will return it to you.”

I have coveted no one’s silver or gold or clothes.
