A despairing man should receive loyalty from his friends, even if he abandons the fear of the Almighty.

“那将要灰心、离弃全能者、不敬畏神的人，他的朋友当以慈爱待他。

“即使绝望者抛弃对上帝的敬畏，也应该得到朋友的恩待。

朋友应该怜悯灰心的人，因为他舍弃了对全能者的敬畏。

那將要灰心、離棄全能者、不敬畏神的人，他的朋友當以慈愛待他。

『不以慈愛待朋友的、是撇棄敬畏全能者的心。

人將頹敗、失其對全能者之寅畏、其友宜矜恤之、

人遭患難、其友必加矜憫、惟我友朋、不畏全能之主。

人遭患難、其友當加矜恤、不然、則為不敬畏全能之主、或作人遭患難雖不復畏全能之主其友亦當加矜恤

“ Anyone who withholds kindness from a friend forsakes the fear of the Almighty.

“ A person shouldn’t stop being kind to a friend. Anyone who does that stops showing respect for the Mighty One.

“ He who withholds kindness from a friend forsakes the fear of the Almighty.

“ One should be kind to a fainting friend, but you accuse me without any fear of the Almighty.

“ For the despairing man there should be kindness from his friend; So that he does not abandon the fear of the Almighty.

“ To him who is afflicted, kindness should be shown by his friend, Even though he forsakes the fear of the Almighty.

To him that is ready to faint kindness should be showed from his friend; Even to him that forsaketh the fear of the Almighty.

To him that is afflicted pity[ should be shewed] from his friend; but he forsaketh the fear of the Almighty.

“ To the one in despair, kindness should come from his friend even if he forsakes the fear of the Almighty.

“ To him who is ready to faint, kindness should be shown from his friend; even to him who forsakes the fear of the Almighty.

A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a difficult time.

But you even undermine the fear of God and hinder meditation before him.

So if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.

Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.

But the other answered, rebuking him:“ Don’t you even fear God, since you are undergoing the same punishment?

Carry one another’s burdens; in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Instead, I would encourage you with my mouth, and the consolation from my lips would bring relief.

An oracle within my heart concerning the transgression of the wicked person: Dread of God has no effect on him.For with his flattering opinion of himself, he does not discover and hate his iniquity.The words from his mouth are malicious and deceptive; he has stopped acting wisely and doing good.

Abraham replied,“ I thought,‘ There is absolutely no fear of God in this place. They will kill me because of my wife.’

Remember those in prison, as though you were in prison with them, and the mistreated, as though you yourselves were suffering bodily.

Have mercy on me, my friends, have mercy, for God’s hand has struck me.

Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is made to stumble, and I do not burn with indignation?

Indeed, you have instructed many and have strengthened weak hands.Your words have steadied the one who was stumbling and braced the knees that were buckling.But now that this has happened to you, you have become exhausted. It strikes you, and you are dismayed.
