You placed the world on its foundation so it would never be moved.

Who but God goes up to heaven and comes back down? Who holds the wind in his fists? Who wraps up the oceans in his cloak? Who has created the whole wide world? What is his name— and his son’s name? Tell me if you know!

He also says to the Son,“ In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundation of the earth and made the heavens with your hands.

And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe.

“ The Lord formed me from the beginning, before he created anything else.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Long ago you laid the foundation of the earth and made the heavens with your hands.

I was there when he set the limits of the seas, so they would not spread beyond their boundaries. And when he marked off the earth’s foundations,I was the architect at his side. I was his constant delight, rejoicing always in his presence.
