Do you know the laws of the heavens? Can you set up God’s dominion over the earth?

Do you know the laws that govern the heavens? Can you rule over the earth the way I do?

Do you know the ordinances of the heavens? Can you establish their rule on the earth?

Do you know the laws of the universe? Can you use them to regulate the earth?

Do you know the laws of heaven? Can you impose its authority on earth?

Do you know the ordinances of the heavens, Or do you establish their rule over the earth?

This is what the Lord says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the Lord Almighty is his name:“ Only if these decrees vanish from my sight,” declares the Lord,“ will Israel ever cease being a nation before me.” (niv)

“ Have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place,that it might take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it? (niv)

God made two great lights— the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. (niv)

“ As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.” (niv)

This is what the Lord says:‘ If I have not made my covenant with day and night and established the laws of heaven and earth, (niv)

and he established them for ever and ever— he issued a decree that will never pass away. (niv)

Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures.Your laws endure to this day, for all things serve you. (niv)
