Who cuts a channel for the torrents of rain, and a path for the thunderstorm,

Who tells the rain where it should fall? Who makes paths for the thunderstorms?

“ Who has cleft a channel for the torrents of rain and a way for the thunderbolt,

“ Who created a channel for the torrents of rain? Who laid out the path for the lightning?

Who cuts a channel for the flooding rain or clears the way for lightning,

“ Who has split open a channel for the flood, And a way for the thunderbolt,

“ Who has divided a channel for the overflowing water, Or a path for the thunderbolt,

Who hath cleft a channel for the waterflood, Or the way for the lightning of the thunder;

Who cuts a channel for the flooding rain or clears the way for lightning,

Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;

Who carves out a channel for the heavy rains, and a path for the rumble of thunder,

Who has cut a channel for the flood water, or the path for the thunder storm,

为雨定律例，为雷电定道路。

耶和华的声音在众水上，荣耀的上帝打雷；耶和华打雷在大水之上。耶和华的声音大有能力，耶和华的声音满有威严。耶和华的声音震碎香柏树，耶和华震碎黎巴嫩的香柏树。他使黎巴嫩跳跃如牛犊，使西连跳跃如野牛犊。耶和华的声音使火焰分岔。耶和华的声音震动旷野，耶和华震动加低斯的旷野。耶和华的声音惊动母鹿落胎，树林也脱落净光。凡在他殿中的，都述说他的荣耀。耶和华坐在洪水之上为王；耶和华坐着为王，直到永远。

因他吸取水点，水点就从云雾中变成雨；云彩将雨落下，沛然降于世人。

他发响声震遍天下，他的闪电直到地极。随后，人听见他的声音，是那轰轰的声音；他发出威严的雷声，而不加以遏止。上帝发出奇妙的雷声；他行大事，我们不能测透。他对雪说：‘要降在地上’；对大雨和暴雨也是这样说。
