『誰為大雨水破分水道？為雷電開路線？

誰為雨水開渠、誰為雷電備路、

誰沛霖雨、誰發雷電。

誰為暴雨分途歸河、誰為雷電定道、

Who cuts a channel for the torrents of rain, and a path for the thunderstorm,

Who tells the rain where it should fall? Who makes paths for the thunderstorms?

“ Who has cleft a channel for the torrents of rain and a way for the thunderbolt,

“ Who created a channel for the torrents of rain? Who laid out the path for the lightning?

Who cuts a channel for the flooding rain or clears the way for lightning,

“ Who has split open a channel for the flood, And a way for the thunderbolt,

“ Who has divided a channel for the overflowing water, Or a path for the thunderbolt,

Who hath cleft a channel for the waterflood, Or the way for the lightning of the thunder;

Who cuts a channel for the flooding rain or clears the way for lightning,

Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;

Who carves out a channel for the heavy rains, and a path for the rumble of thunder,

Who has cut a channel for the flood water, or the path for the thunder storm,

為雨露立定律，為雷電定道路。

耶和華的聲音在眾水之上，榮耀的神打雷，耶和華打雷在大水之上。耶和華的聲音大有能力，耶和華的聲音充滿威嚴。耶和華的聲音震斷了香柏樹，耶和華震斷了黎巴嫩的香柏樹。他使黎巴嫩山跳躍像牛犢，使西連山跳躍像野牛犢。耶和華的聲音帶著火燄劈下。耶和華的聲音震撼曠野，耶和華震撼加低斯的曠野。耶和華的聲音驚動母鹿生產，使林中的樹木光禿凋零；凡是在他殿中的都說：“榮耀啊！”耶和華坐在洪水之上，耶和華坐著為王直到永遠。

他吸收滴滴水點，使水滴在雲霧中化成雨，雲層傾下雨水，沛然降在世人身上。

他發雷聲響遍天下，也發電光閃到地極。接著雷聲霹靂，神以自己威嚴之聲打雷，人聽到雷聲的時候，神並沒有留住風霜雨雲（“風霜雨雲”直譯是“它們”）。神以奇妙的方法打雷，他行大事，我們不能了解。他對雪說：‘降在地上’，對大雨暴雨也是這樣。
