惡人得不到光明，強橫的臂膀必折斷。

惡人必得不到亮光，高舉的膀臂必被折斷。

何曾使光被收回、不照着惡人；使強橫高舉的膀臂都被折斷呢？

作惡者流、不得其光、強臂乃折、

作惡者流、不以光為光、光天之下、不敢作為。

光明照臨、惡人反覺無光、其勢即敗、此皆爾所使乎、

The wicked are denied their light, and their upraised arm is broken.

Sinners would rather have darkness than light. When the light comes, their power is broken.

From the wicked their light is withheld, and their uplifted arm is broken.

The light disturbs the wicked and stops the arm that is raised in violence.

Light is withheld from the wicked, and the arm raised in violence is broken.

Their light is withheld from the wicked, And the uplifted arm is broken.

From the wicked their light is withheld, And the upraised arm is broken.

And from the wicked their light is withholden, And the high arm is broken.

Light is withheld from the wicked, and the arm raised in violence is broken.

And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken.

Then from the wicked the light is withheld, and the arm raised in violence is broken.

From the wicked, their light is withheld. The high arm is broken.

Break the arm of the wicked man; call the evildoer to account for his wickedness that would not otherwise be found out. (niv)

for the power of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous. (niv)

“ The lamp of a wicked man is snuffed out; the flame of his fire stops burning. (niv)

But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble. (niv)

He is driven from light into the realm of darkness and is banished from the world. (niv)

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Stretch out your hand toward the sky so that darkness spreads over Egypt— darkness that can be felt.”So Moses stretched out his hand toward the sky, and total darkness covered all Egypt for three days.No one could see anyone else or move about for three days. As the enemy came down toward him, Elisha prayed to the Lord,“ Strike this army with blindness.” So he struck them with blindness, as Elisha had asked. (niv)
