Light is withheld from the wicked, and the arm raised in violence is broken.

亮光不照恶人；强横的膀臂也必折断。

惡人得不到光明，強橫的臂膀必折斷。

惡人必得不到亮光，高舉的膀臂必被折斷。

何曾使光被收回、不照着惡人；使強橫高舉的膀臂都被折斷呢？

作惡者流、不得其光、強臂乃折、

作惡者流、不以光為光、光天之下、不敢作為。

光明照臨、惡人反覺無光、其勢即敗、此皆爾所使乎、

The wicked are denied their light, and their upraised arm is broken.

Sinners would rather have darkness than light. When the light comes, their power is broken.

From the wicked their light is withheld, and their uplifted arm is broken.

The light disturbs the wicked and stops the arm that is raised in violence.

Break the arm of the wicked, evil person, until you look for his wickedness, but it can’t be found.

For the arms of the wicked will be broken, but the LORD supports the righteous.

Yes, the light of the wicked is extinguished; the flame of his fire does not glow.

But the way of the wicked is like the darkest gloom; they don’t know what makes them stumble.

He is driven from light to darkness and chased from the inhabited world.

Then the LORD said to Moses,“ Stretch out your hand toward heaven, and there will be darkness over the land of Egypt, a darkness that can be felt.”So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was thick darkness throughout the land of Egypt for three days.One person could not see another, and for three days they did not move from where they were.
