Should He be told that I want to speak? Can a man speak when he is confused?

人岂可说：我愿与他说话？岂有人自愿灭亡吗？

有人告诉他我要说话吗？岂有人说他愿被吞灭吗？

有人告诉他我要说话吗？岂有人说他愿被吞灭吗？

我怎敢与祂对话？岂有人自取灭亡？

人怎能对他说：‘我要说话’？哪有人自愿灭亡呢？

人豈可說：我願與他說話？豈有人自願滅亡嗎？

有人告訴他我要說話嗎？豈有人說他願被吞滅嗎？

人議上帝、必見殘滅、吾人不敢以所言升聞於上、

我若議論天主、猶敢告之乎、人若議論天主、必至翦滅、

Should God be notified that I want to speak? Can people even speak when they are confused?

Should He be told that I wish to speak? If a man were to speak, surely he would be swallowed up.

Should he be informed that I want to speak? If a man speaks, surely he would be swallowed up!

For then it would outweigh the sand of the seas! That is why my words are rash.

Can you fathom the depths of God or discover the limits of the Almighty?They are higher than the heavens— what can you do? They are deeper than Sheol— what can you know?
