Remember to extol his work, which people have praised in song.

Remember to thank him for what he’s done. People have praised him with their songs.

“ Remember to extol his work, of which men have sung.

Instead, glorify his mighty works, singing songs of praise.

Remember that you should praise his work, which people have sung about.

“ Remember to magnify His work, Of which men have sung.

Remember that thou magnify his work, Whereof men have sung.

Remember to extol his work, which people have praised in song.

Exalt the Lord with me, And let’s exalt His name together.

And they* sang the song of Moses, the bond servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,“ Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God, the Almighty; Righteous and true are Your ways, King of the nations!

And Mary said:“ My soul exalts the Lord,

Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, Who alone works wonders.

Great are the works of the Lord; They are studied by all who delight in them.Splendid and majestic is His work, And His righteousness endures forever.He has caused His wonders to be remembered; The Lord is gracious and compassionate.

It is He who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom; And by His understanding He has stretched out the heavens.

Because they do not regard the works of the Lord Nor the deeds of His hands, He will tear them down and not build them up.

But as for me, I will sing of Your strength; Yes, I will joyfully sing of Your faithfulness in the morning, For You have been my refuge And a place of refuge on the day of my distress.

And they will sing of the ways of the Lord, For great is the glory of the Lord.

“ Wisdom and might are with Him; Advice and understanding belong to Him.Behold, He tears down, and it cannot be rebuilt; He imprisons a person, and there is no release.Behold, He restrains the waters, and they dry up; And He sends them out, and they inundate the earth.Strength and sound wisdom are with Him. One who goes astray and one who leads astray belong to Him.He makes advisers walk barefoot And makes fools of judges.He undoes the binding of kings, And ties a loincloth around their waist.He makes priests walk barefoot, And overthrows the secure ones.He deprives the trusted ones of speech, And takes away the discernment of the elders.He pours contempt on nobles, And loosens the belt of the strong.He reveals mysteries from the darkness, And brings the deep darkness into light.He makes the nations great, then destroys them; He enlarges the nations, then leads them away.He deprives the leaders of the earth’s people of intelligence And makes them wander in a pathless wasteland.They grope in darkness with no light, And He makes them stagger like a drunken person.

All Your works will give thanks to You, Lord, And Your godly ones will bless You.They will speak of the glory of Your kingdom, And talk of Your might,To make known to the sons of mankind Your mighty acts, And the glory of the majesty of Your kingdom.

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are true and His ways just; and He is able to humble those who walk in pride.”

They shall give thanks to the Lord for His mercy, And for His wonders to the sons of mankind!

For You, Lord, have made me joyful by what You have done, I will sing for joy over the works of Your hands.How great are Your works, Lord! Your thoughts are very deep.

There is no one like You among the gods, Lord, Nor are there any works like Yours.All nations whom You have made will come and worship before You, Lord, And they will glorify Your name.For You are great, and you do wondrous deeds; You alone are God.

How great are His signs And how mighty are His miracles! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And His dominion is from generation to generation.

“ The departed spirits are made to tremble Under the waters and their inhabitants.Sheol is naked before Him, And Abaddon has no covering.He stretches out the north over empty space And hangs the earth on nothing.He wraps up the waters in His clouds, And the cloud does not burst under them.He obscures the face of the full moon And spreads His cloud over it.He has inscribed a circle on the surface of the waters At the boundary of light and darkness.The pillars of heaven tremble And are amazed at His rebuke.With His power He quieted the sea, And by His understanding He shattered Rahab.By His breath the heavens are cleared; His hand has pierced the fleeing serpent.Behold, these are the fringes of His ways; And how faint a word we hear of Him! But His mighty thunder, who can understand?”

And be careful not to raise your eyes to heaven and look at the sun, the moon, and the stars, all the heavenly lights, and allow yourself to be drawn away and worship them and serve them, things which the Lord your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.

The heavens tell of the glory of God; And their expanse declares the work of His hands.Day to day pours forth speech, And night to night reveals knowledge.There is no speech, nor are there words; Their voice is not heard.Their line has gone out into all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He has placed a tent for the sun,

They are upheld forever and ever; They are performed in truth and uprightness.

They shall give thanks to the Lord for His mercy, And for His wonders to the sons of mankind!

Lord, how many are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all; The earth is full of Your possessions.
