If they obey and serve him, they will spend the rest of their days in prosperity and their years in contentment.

日后，当你们遭遇这些事，受尽苦难的时候，必归向你们的上帝耶和华，听从祂。

你们要改邪归正，听从你们上帝耶和华的话，这样耶和华必施怜悯，取消本来要降给你们的灾祸。

只吩咐他们，‘你们要听从我的话，我就做你们的上帝，你们做我的子民；你们遵行我的吩咐，就必蒙福。’

亚伯拉罕因为有信心，听到上帝的呼召后，就遵命前往他将要承受为产业的地方，但他出发的时候还不知道自己要去哪里。

如果你们愿意听从，就必享用这地方的美好出产。

感谢上帝！你们从前虽然做过罪的奴隶，现在却衷心服从了所传给你们的教导，

耶和华赐给约伯晚年的福分比起初更多：他有一万四千只羊、六千只骆驼、一千对牛和一千头母驴。

她过去怎样自炫自耀、奢华荒淫，现在也要让她怎样痛苦哀伤。因为她心里说，‘我贵为女王，不是寡妇，绝不会经历哀伤。’

你们在世上奢侈享乐，在被宰杀的日子里，把自己养得肥肥胖胖。

义人和恶人、好人和坏人、洁净的和污秽的、献祭的和不献祭的、行善的和犯罪的、敢于起誓的和不敢起誓的人，最终的命运都一样。在日光之下有一件可悲的事，就是人最终的命运都一样。再者，人内心都充满邪恶，活着的时候行事狂妄，最后都步入死亡。

“你若把心安正，向祂举手祷告；你若除去自己的罪恶，不容帐篷里有任何不义，就必能无愧地仰起脸，站立得稳，无所畏惧。你必忘记自己的苦楚，它从你记忆中如流水逝去。你的人生将比正午还光明，生命中的黑暗也必像黎明。你必充满盼望，感到安稳，你必得到保护，安然入睡。你睡觉时必无人惊扰，许多人必求你施恩。
