則上帝憫之曰、可援之、免其陷於坑坎、我得一贖之者矣、

於是主矜憫其人曰、我已贖彼、免其入墓。

天主則矜憫其人曰、可援之、免其入墓、我已得以贖之者、

and he is gracious to that person and says to God,‘ Spare them from going down to the pit; I have found a ransom for them—

That angel will be gracious to them. He’ll say to God,‘ Spare them from going down into the grave. I know a way that can set them free.’

and he is merciful to him, and says,‘ Deliver him from going down into the pit; I have found a ransom;

he will be gracious and say,‘ Rescue him from the grave, for I have found a ransom for his life.’

and to be gracious to him and say,“ Spare him from going down to the Pit; I have found a ransom,”

And he is gracious to him, and says,‘ Free him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom’;

Then He is gracious to him, and says,‘ Deliver him from going down to the Pit; I have found a ransom’;

Then God is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom.

and to be gracious to him and say,“ Spare him from going down to the Pit; I have found a ransom,”

Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.

then God is gracious to him, and says,‘ Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom.’

just as the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Certainly a man cannot rescue his brother; he cannot pay God an adequate ransom price( the ransom price for a human life is too high, and people go to their final destiny),

He spares a person’s life from corruption, his very life from crossing over the river.

Now the law came in so that the transgression may increase, but where sin increased, grace multiplied all the more,so that just as sin reigned in death, so also grace will reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

“ Reconcile yourself with God, and be at peace with him; in this way your prosperity will be good.

Indeed, the people of Israel are my dear children. They are the children I take delight in. For even though I must often rebuke them, I still remember them with fondness. So I am deeply moved with pity for them and will surely have compassion on them. I, the LORD, affirm it!

He lifted me out of the watery pit, out of the slimy mud. He placed my feet on a rock and gave me secure footing.

But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and merciful God. You are patient and demonstrate great loyal love and faithfulness.

“ Look, the grief I experienced was for my benefit. You delivered me from the pit of oblivion. For you removed all my sins from your sight.Indeed Sheol does not give you thanks; death does not praise you. Those who descend into the pit do not anticipate your faithfulness.The living person, the living person, he gives you thanks, as I do today. A father tells his sons about your faithfulness.

And he reveals this for correction, and says that they must turn from evil.If they obey and serve him, they live out their days in prosperity and their years in pleasantness.

Moreover, as for you, because of our covenant relationship secured with blood, I will release your prisoners from the waterless pit.

“ What profit is there in taking my life, in my descending into the Pit? Can the dust of the grave praise you? Can it declare your loyalty?Hear, O LORD, and have mercy on me! O LORD, deliver me!”Then you turned my lament into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and covered me with joy.So now my heart will sing to you and not be silent; O LORD my God, I will always give thanks to you.

Return to the LORD and repent! Say to him:“ Completely forgive our iniquity; accept our penitential prayer, that we may offer the praise of our lips as sacrificial bulls.

Be my protector and refuge, a stronghold where I can be safe! For you are my high ridge and my stronghold.

For you will extend your great loyal love to me, and will deliver my life from the depths of Sheol.

who gave himself as a ransom for all, revealing God’s purpose at his appointed time.

The LORD passed by before him and proclaimed:“ The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, and abounding in loyal love and faithfulness,keeping loyal love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin. But he by no means leaves the guilty unpunished, responding to the transgression of fathers by dealing with children and children’s children, to the third and fourth generation.”

Be careful that no one entices you with riches; do not let a large bribe turn you aside.

There is no other God like you! You forgive sin and pardon the rebellion of those who remain among your people. You do not remain angry forever, but delight in showing loyal love.You will once again have mercy on us; you will conquer our evil deeds; you will hurl our sins into the depths of the sea.You will be loyal to Jacob and extend your loyal love to Abraham, which you promised on oath to our ancestors in ancient times.

In you our ancestors trusted; they trusted in you and you rescued them.

But they are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.God publicly displayed him at his death as the mercy seat accessible through faith. This was to demonstrate his righteousness, because God in his forbearance had passed over the sins previously committed.This was also to demonstrate his righteousness in the present time, so that he would be just and the justifier of the one who lives because of Jesus’ faithfulness.

Certainly O Lord, you are kind and forgiving, and show great faithfulness to all who cry out to you.

You know that from your empty way of life inherited from your ancestors you were ransomed– not by perishable things like silver or gold,but by precious blood like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb, namely Christ.

And the LORD said,“ I will make all my goodness pass before your face, and I will proclaim the LORD by name before you; I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, I will show mercy to whom I will show mercy.”

“ I will heal their waywardness and love them freely, for my anger will turn away from them.
