He wraps up the waters in his clouds, yet the clouds do not burst under their weight.

He binds up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is not split open under them.

誰升上高天又降下來？誰將風聚在掌中？誰將眾水裹在衣服裡？誰定了地的邊界？祂叫什麼名字？祂兒子叫什麼名字？你知道嗎？

祂一聲令下，天上大水湧動；祂使雲從地極升起，使閃電在雨中發出，祂從自己的倉庫吹出風來。

我不再修剪，不再鋤地，也不再降雨，任由它荒廢，長滿荊棘和蒺藜。」

上帝說：「水與水之間要有穹蒼，把水分開。」果然如此。上帝開闢了穹蒼，用穹蒼將水上下分開。

祂乘著基路伯天使飛翔，乘著風的翅膀疾馳。祂藏身於黑暗中，四圍以密雲作幔幕。

祂使雲霧從地極上升，發出電光，帶來雨水，從祂的倉庫帶出風來。

誰能明白雲層的鋪展，及祂幔幕發出的雷聲？

是我為大海披上雲彩，為它裹上厚厚的幽暗。

塵土結成硬團，土塊黏在一起時，誰能憑智慧數算雲彩？誰能傾倒天上的水囊？

祂使密雲佈滿水氣，從雲端發出閃電。雲隨祂的指令旋轉，在地面之上完成祂的吩咐，或為懲罰大地，或為彰顯慈愛。「約伯啊，請留心聽，要駐足沉思上帝的奇妙作為。你知道上帝如何發出命令，使雲中電光閃爍嗎？你知道全知者的奇妙作為——祂如何使雲彩飄浮嗎？
