Is it for your piety that he reproves you, that he enters with you into judgment?

岂是因你敬畏他就责备你、审判你吗？

他岂是因你敬畏的心就责备你，审判你吗？

他岂是因你敬畏的心就责备你，审判你吗？

祂岂会因你敬虔而惩罚你、审判你？

他是因你敬畏他而责备你，对你施行审判吗？

豈是因你敬畏他就責備你、審判你嗎？

他豈是因你敬畏的心就責備你，審判你嗎？

他豈是因你敬畏的心就責備你，審判你嗎？

祂豈會因你敬虔而懲罰你、審判你？

他是因你敬畏他而責備你，對你施行審判嗎？

他責打你、同你爭訟，哪是因你的敬畏心呢？

彼之責爾鞫爾、豈因爾敬虔乎、

上帝責爾鞫爾者、豈畏爾哉。

天主豈因畏爾與爾議論、辨別是非乎、或作天主豈因爾敬畏天主譴責爾審鞫爾乎

“ Is it for your piety that he rebukes you and brings charges against you?

“ You say you have respect for him. Is that why he corrects you? Is that why he brings charges against you?

Is it for your fear of him that he reproves you and enters into judgment with you?

Is it because you’re so pious that he accuses you and brings judgment against you?

Does he correct you and take you to court because of your piety?

Is it because of your reverence that He punishes you, That He enters into judgment against you?

“ Is it because of your fear of Him that He corrects you, And enters into judgment with you?

Is it for thy fear of him that he reproveth thee, That he entereth with thee into judgment?

Does He correct you and take you to court because of your piety?

Will he reprove thee for fear of thee? will he enter with thee into judgment?

Is it because of your piety that he rebukes you and goes to judgment with you?

Do you open your eyes on such a one, and bring me into judgment with you?

Don’t enter into judgment with your servant, for in your sight no man living is righteous.

For God will bring every work into judgment, with every hidden thing, whether it is good, or whether it is evil.

For he doesn’t need to consider a man further, that he should go before God in judgment.

Am I a sea, or a sea monster, that you put a guard over me?

If it is a matter of strength, behold, he is mighty! If of justice,‘ Who,’ says he,‘ will summon me?’

When you rebuke and correct man for iniquity, you consume his wealth like a moth. Surely every man is but a breath.” Selah.

For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, that we should come together in judgment.

Yahweh will enter into judgment with the elders of his people and their leaders:“ It is you who have eaten up the vineyard. The plunder of the poor is in your houses.What do you mean that you crush my people, and grind the face of the poor?” says the Lord, Yahweh of Armies.

At your rebuke, God of Jacob, both chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

Would he contend with me in the greatness of his power? No, but he would listen to me.There the upright might reason with him, so I should be delivered forever from my judge.

If you, Yah, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?But there is forgiveness with you, therefore you are feared.

that he would maintain the right of a man with God, of a son of man with his neighbor!

It’s burned with fire. It’s cut down. They perish at your rebuke.

As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent.
