夫永生者無他、即知爾為獨一真天主、且知耶穌基督爾所遣者、

天主託耶穌基督、即萬有之主、傳和平福音、授道於以色列民、

我必使其口讚頌我、我賜平康、賜平康於遠者近者、且我將醫之、此乃主所言、惟彼惡人、若激盪之海、永不恬靜、其水湧出泥與沫、我之天主曰、惡人不享平康、

是以我為基督之使、如天主藉我而勸爾、我代基督、求爾與天主復和、

昔天主命光由暗而照、今照於我心、以光照人、使其知天主之榮、即在基督面所顯者也、

基督使我儕得和、使二者為一、毀中隔之墻垣、彼以其身、廢冤仇之由、即教守儀文之律法、欲於己身使二者成為一新造之人、如是、使之得和、且以其十字架、使二者聯為一體、與天主復和、以冤仇消滅於己身、或作蓋以其十字架消滅冤仇使二者聯為一體與天主復和且來傳和平之福音、傳於爾遠者近者、
