你却说，‘上帝知道什么？祂怎能隔着幽暗施行审判？

你说：‘神知道什么？他能透过幽暗施行审判吗？

你說：神知道甚麼？他豈能看透幽暗施行審判呢？

你說：『上帝知道甚麼？他豈能透過幽暗施行審判呢？

你卻說，『上帝知道什麼？祂怎能隔著幽暗施行審判？

故此你老說：「上帝知道甚麼？他哪能看透幽暗而施行審判呢？

爾則曰、上帝何知、豈能自幽深之中行鞫哉、

爾曰、上帝所居、幽深玄遠、豈能鑒觀下土哉。

爾曰、天主豈能知下界乎、豈能自密雲中鑒察乎、

Yet you say,‘ What does God know? Does he judge through such darkness?

But you still say,‘ What does God know? Can he see through the darkest clouds to judge us?

But you say,‘ What does God know? Can he judge through the deep darkness?

But you reply,‘ That’s why God can’t see what I am doing! How can he judge through the thick darkness?

Yet you say,“ What does God know? Can he judge through total darkness?

But you say,‘ What does God know? Can He judge through the thick darkness?

And you say,‘ What does God know? Can He judge through the deep darkness?

And thou sayest, What doth God know? Can he judge through the thick darkness?

Yet you say:“ What does God know? Can He judge through thick darkness?

And thou sayest, How doth God know? can he judge through the dark cloud?

But you have said,‘ What does God know? Does he judge through such deep darkness?

You say,‘ What does God know? Can he judge through the thick darkness?

He said to me,“ Son of man, have you seen what the elders of Israel are doing in the darkness, each at the shrine of his own idol? They say,‘ The Lord does not see us; the Lord has forsaken the land.’” (niv)

He says to himself,“ God will never notice; he covers his face and never sees.” (niv)

They say,“ How would God know? Does the Most High know anything?” (niv)

He answered me,“ The sin of the people of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great; the land is full of bloodshed and the city is full of injustice. They say,‘ The Lord has forsaken the land; the Lord does not see.’ (niv)

Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the Lord, who do their work in darkness and think,“ Who sees us? Who will know?” (niv)

See what they spew from their mouths— the words from their lips are sharp as swords, and they think,“ Who can hear us?” (niv)

They encourage each other in evil plans, they talk about hiding their snares; they say,“ Who will see it?” (niv)

They say,“ The Lord does not see; the God of Jacob takes no notice.”Take notice, you senseless ones among the people; you fools, when will you become wise?Does he who fashioned the ear not hear? Does he who formed the eye not see? (niv)

At that time I will search Jerusalem with lamps and punish those who are complacent, who are like wine left on its dregs, who think,‘ The Lord will do nothing, either good or bad.’ (niv)
