For you say,‘ Where now is the nobleman’s house, and where are the tents in which the wicked lived?’

You say,‘ Where now is the house of the great, the tents where the wicked lived?’

You are saying to yourselves,‘ Where is the great man’s house now? Where are the tents where his evil family lived?’

For you say,‘ Where is the house of the prince? Where is the tent in which the wicked lived?’

You will tell me of rich and wicked people whose houses have vanished because of their sins.

For you say,“ Where now is the nobleman’s house?” and“ Where are the tents the wicked lived in?”

For you say,‘ Where is the house of the nobleman, And where is the tent, the dwelling places of the wicked?’

For you say,‘ Where is the house of the prince? And where is the tent, The dwelling place of the wicked?’

For ye say, Where is the house of the prince? And where is the tent wherein the wicked dwelt?

For you say,“ Where now is the nobleman’s house?” and“ Where are the tents the wicked lived in?”

For ye say, Where[ is] the house of the prince? and where[ are] the dwelling places of the wicked?

For you say,‘ Where is the house of the prince? Where is the tent in which the wicked lived?’

Those who hate you will be clothed with shame, and the tent of the wicked will be no more.”

he will perish forever, like his own excrement; those who used to see him will say,‘ Where is he?’

“ I will send it out,” says the LORD who rules over all,“ and it will enter the house of the thief and of the person who swears falsely in my name. It will land in the middle of his house and destroy both timber and stones.”

But then one passes by, and suddenly they have disappeared! I looked for them, but they could not be found.

The one who builds his house by unjust gain is as good as dead. He does this so he can build his nest way up high and escape the clutches of disaster.Your schemes will bring shame to your house. Because you destroyed many nations, you will self-destruct.For the stones in the walls will cry out, and the wooden rafters will answer back.

His possessions included 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 yoke of oxen, and 500 female donkeys; in addition he had a very great household. Thus he was the greatest of all the people in the east.

And he said to the community,“ Move away from the tents of these wicked men, and do not touch anything they have, lest you be destroyed because of all their sins.”So they got away from the homes of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram on every side, and Dathan and Abiram came out and stationed themselves in the entrances of their tents with their wives, their children, and their toddlers.Then Moses said,“ This is how you will know that the LORD has sent me to do all these works, for I have not done them of my own will.If these men die a natural death, or if they share the fate of all men, then the LORD has not sent me.But if the LORD does something entirely new, and the earth opens its mouth and swallows them up along with all that they have, and they go down alive to the grave, then you will know that these men have despised the LORD!”When he had finished speaking all these words, the ground that was under them split open,and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them, along with their households, and all Korah’s men, and all their goods.They and all that they had went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed over them. So they perished from among the community.All the Israelites who were around them fled at their cry, for they said,“ What if the earth swallows us too?”

I would give him an accounting of my steps; like a prince I would approach him.

Yet God will make you a permanent heap of ruins. He will scoop you up and remove you from your home; he will uproot you from the land of the living.( Selah)When the godly see this, they will be filled with awe, and will mock the evildoer, saying:
