『壞事在他口中雖生甘甜，他雖給藏於舌頭底下，

邪慝雖甘於口中、藏於舌底、

惡譬諸食物、甫入口則甚甘、藏於舌間、

彼以惡為食、入口覺甘、藏於舌下、

“ Though evil is sweet in his mouth and he hides it under his tongue,

“ Anything that is evil tastes sweet to them. They keep it under their tongues for a while.

“ They enjoyed the sweet taste of wickedness, letting it melt under their tongue.

His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and oppression: Under his tongue is mischief and iniquity.

How much less one that is abominable and corrupt, A man that drinketh iniquity like water!

Bread of falsehood is sweet to a man; But afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.
