For God will bring every act to judgment, including every hidden thing, whether good or evil.

Rejoice, young man, while you are young, and let your heart be glad in the days of your youth. And walk in the ways of your heart and in the sight of your eyes; but know that for all of these things God will bring you to judgment.

Would you testify unjustly on God’s behalf or speak deceitfully for Him?Would you show partiality to Him or argue the case in His defense?Would it go well if He examined you? Could you deceive Him as you would deceive a man?Surely He would rebuke you if you secretly showed partiality.Would God’s majesty not terrify you? Would His dread not fall on you?

Therefore the wicked will not survive the judgment, and sinners will not be in the community of the righteous.

The righteous one will rejoice when he sees the retribution; he will wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.Then people will say,“ Yes, there is a reward for the righteous! There is a God who judges on earth!”

But the Lord sits enthroned forever; He has established His throne for judgment.

“ Do not judge, so that you won’t be judged.For with the judgment you use, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Does He correct you and take you to court because of your piety?

He doesn’t believe he will return from darkness; he is destined for the sword.

Everyone must submit to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those that exist are instituted by God.So then, the one who resists the authority is opposing God’s command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves.For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have its approval.For government is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, because it does not carry the sword for no reason. For government is God’s servant, an avenger that brings wrath on the one who does wrong.

Don’t criticize one another, brothers. He who criticizes a brother or judges his brother criticizes the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge.There is one lawgiver and judge who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?
