Having hope will give you courage. You will be protected and will rest in safety.

You will eat your fill and live securely in your own land.“ I will give you peace in the land, and you will be able to sleep with no cause for fear. I will rid the land of wild animals and keep your enemies out of your land.

I lay down and slept, yet I woke up in safety, for the Lord was watching over me.

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.

Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!

But I don’t have the strength to endure. I have nothing to live for.

You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows to him.You will succeed in whatever you choose to do, and light will shine on the road ahead of you.If people are in trouble and you say,‘ Help them,’ God will save them.

The wicked are crushed by disaster, but the godly have a refuge when they die.

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance.And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.
