[ Are] thy days as the days of man?[ are] thy years as man’s days,

你的日子岂像人的日子，你的年岁岂像人的年岁，

难道你的年日有限，岁月如世人般短暂？

你的日子豈像人的日子，你的年歲豈像壯士的年歲，

難道你的年日有限，歲月如世人般短暫？

你的日子不如人的日子，你的年歲不像人的年歲，

難道你的日子像人的日子？你的年歲像人的年歲？

爾日豈如人之日、爾年豈如人之年、

爾壽爾年、豈若人之短促哉。

主之日豈如人之日乎、主之歲豈如人之歲乎、

Are your days like those of a mortal or your years like those of a strong man,

Your days aren’t like the days of a mere human being. Your years aren’t even like the years of a strong man.

Are your days as the days of man, or your years as a man’s years,

Is your lifetime only as long as ours? Is your life so short

Are your days like those of a human, or your years like those of a man,

Are Your days like the days of a mortal, Or Your years like a man’s year,

Are Your days like the days of a mortal man? Are Your years like the days of a mighty man,

Are thy days as the days of man, Or thy years as man’s days,

Are Your days like those of a human, or Your years like those of a man,

Are your days like the days of a mortal, or your years like the years of a mortal,

Are your days as the days of mortals, or your years as man’s years,

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day[ is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years[ are] throughout all generations.Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens[ are] the work of thy hands.They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:But thou[ art] the same, and thy years shall have no end.

And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou[ art] God.Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.For a thousand years in thy sight[ are but] as yesterday when it is past, and[ as] a watch in the night.

Behold, God[ is] great, and we know[ him] not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.

But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.
