虐遇斯民、豈爾所悅乎。爾既造人、豈遽棄之乎。惡者之謀為、爾反眷佑之乎。

難道你喜悅壓迫、鄙視你造的人，卻青睞惡人的計謀？

壓迫無辜，又棄絕你手所作的，卻喜悅惡人的計謀，你都以為美嗎？

你施行欺壓，棄絕你手所造的，卻使惡人的計謀顯耀：這於你哪是好呢？

爾手所造、則虐待之、輕視之、惡人之謀、則焜耀之、爾豈以是為善乎、

主手所造、主又虐遇厭棄、反光照光照或作眷祐惡人之謀、豈主所悅乎、

Does it please you to oppress me, to spurn the work of your hands, while you smile on the plans of the wicked?

Does it make you happy when you crush me? Does it please you to turn your back on what you have made? While you do those things, you smile on the plans of sinful people!

Does it seem good to you to oppress, to despise the work of your hands and favor the designs of the wicked?

What do you gain by oppressing me? Why do you reject me, the work of your own hands, while smiling on the schemes of the wicked?

Is it good for you to oppress, to reject the work of your hands, and favor the plans of the wicked?

Is it right for You indeed to oppress, To reject the work of Your hands, And to look favorably on the plan of the wicked?

Does it seem good to You that You should oppress, That You should despise the work of Your hands, And smile on the counsel of the wicked?

Is it good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress, That thou shouldest despise the work of thy hands, And shine upon the counsel of the wicked?

Is it good for You to oppress, to reject the work of Your hands, and favor the plans of the wicked?

爾問我答、我為爾所造、爾當眷顧。

耶和華與、爾乃我父、我若泥塗、爾若陶人、為爾甄造。

耶和華兮、恆懷矜憫、百事佑予、既造我躬、必不遐棄兮。

我全能之上帝也、爾昔欲與我辨、今何詞以對。

爾豈可廢棄我命、自以為義、而以不義之名委我。

以我觀之、善惡同歸於盡。

行善者上帝不棄、作惡者上帝不佑。

王公諸伯、尚不可加以惡名、況乎上帝、貧富尊卑、視同一體、皆其所造者乎。

約百嘗曰、我乃義、上帝不以直道待我、如自謂不義、是欺人也、然我雖無過、厥疾不瘳。約百狂而多言、如渴而縱飲、較諸他人尤甚。

導予入幽暗之途、非光明之域兮。彼屢害予、終日不息兮。肌膚槁枯、骨骸摧折兮、彼沮尼余、如荼如瞻、四面皆是兮。置我於暗地、與久死之人無異兮。藩籬四圍、使我不出、繫我以鐵索兮。我雖籲呼、不得升聞兮。以石塞途、使我行於曲徑兮。主欲執余、有若熊獅、伏於密林兮。忽搏噬予、傷予喪予兮、張弓發矢、以我為的兮。弢中之箭、入我腎腸兮。人姍笑予、日作歌以譏刺兮。主使予食苦荼、餐茵蔯兮。嚙沙石、折余齒兮、陷灰中、氣難息兮。不可得兮平康、不復見兮福祉。我曰、予力困憊、不復望耶和華兮。

耶利米曰、耶和華與、吾訴於爾前、爾惟公是秉。即以爾行事論之、作惡者享通、逆理者平康、誠何故哉。爾栽植斯人、遂發根株、長而結果、口則附爾、心則遠爾。耶和華與、爾鑒察予、知予中心信從、惟彼作惡者流、爾其牽之、若羊置於死地。

爾曰、其福不長、我亦不為惡人辨。

若上帝旨使爾受苦、則當行善、創造之主、言出惟行、當以魂托之、

如爾黨惡、厥罪貫盈、罰必及之。上帝震怒、恐加刑譴、雖多金不能贖、

當今之世、惡人當路、良吏韜晦、使之者非主而誰。

耶和華兮、貧乏者聽其祈、俘囚者不蔑視兮、

眷顧善人、尊其位、與王同列。其繫以縲絏加以患難者、欲指其過失、責其驕泰、

不知嘉物盈室、無非主所賜也、故我亦不為惡人辨、
