Is it good for you to oppress, to despise the work of your hands, while you smile on the schemes of the wicked?

你施行欺壓，棄絕你手所造的，卻使惡人的計謀顯耀：這於你哪是好呢？

爾手所造、則虐待之、輕視之、惡人之謀、則焜耀之、爾豈以是為善乎、

虐遇斯民、豈爾所悅乎。爾既造人、豈遽棄之乎。惡者之謀為、爾反眷佑之乎。

主手所造、主又虐遇厭棄、反光照光照或作眷祐惡人之謀、豈主所悅乎、

Does it please you to oppress me, to spurn the work of your hands, while you smile on the plans of the wicked?

Does it make you happy when you crush me? Does it please you to turn your back on what you have made? While you do those things, you smile on the plans of sinful people!

Does it seem good to you to oppress, to despise the work of your hands and favor the designs of the wicked?

What do you gain by oppressing me? Why do you reject me, the work of your own hands, while smiling on the schemes of the wicked?

Is it good for you to oppress, to reject the work of your hands, and favor the plans of the wicked?

Is it right for You indeed to oppress, To reject the work of Your hands, And to look favorably on the plan of the wicked?

Does it seem good to You that You should oppress, That You should despise the work of Your hands, And smile on the counsel of the wicked?

Is it good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress, That thou shouldest despise the work of thy hands, And shine upon the counsel of the wicked?

Is it good for You to oppress, to reject the work of Your hands, and favor the plans of the wicked?

You will call and I– I will answer you; you will long for the creature you have made.

Yet, LORD, you are our father. We are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the product of your labor.

The LORD avenges me. O LORD, your loyal love endures. Do not abandon those whom you have made!

“ Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him? Let the person who accuses God give him an answer!”

Would you indeed annul my justice? Would you declare me guilty so that you might be right?

“ It is all one! That is why I say,‘ He destroys the blameless and the guilty.’

“ Surely, God does not reject a blameless man, nor does he grasp the hand of the evildoers.

who says to a king,‘ Worthless man’ and to nobles,‘ Wicked men,’who shows no partiality to princes, and does not take note of the rich more than the poor, because all of them are the work of his hands?

For Job says,‘ I am innocent, but God turns away my right.Concerning my right, should I lie? My wound is incurable, although I am without transgression.’What man is like Job, who drinks derision like water!

He drove me into captivity and made me walk in darkness and not light.He repeatedly attacks me, he turns his hand against me all day long.ב( Bet)He has made my mortal skin waste away; he has broken my bones.He has besieged and surrounded me with bitter hardship.He has made me reside in deepest darkness like those who died long ago.ג( Gimel)He has walled me in so that I cannot get out; he has weighted me down with heavy prison chains.Also, when I cry out desperately for help, he has shut out my prayer.He has blocked every road I take with a wall of hewn stones; he has made every path impassable.ד( Dalet)To me he is like a bear lying in ambush, like a hidden lion stalking its prey.He has obstructed my paths and torn me to pieces; he has made me desolate.He drew his bow and made me the target for his arrow.ה( He)He shot his arrows into my heart.I have become the laughingstock of all people, their mocking song all day long.He has given me my fill of bitter herbs and made me drunk with bitterness.ו( Vav)He ground my teeth in gravel; he trampled me in the dust.I am deprived of peace; I have forgotten what happiness is.So I said,“ My endurance has expired; I have lost all hope of deliverance from the Lord.”ז( Zayin)

LORD, you have always been fair whenever I have complained to you. However, I would like to speak with you about the disposition of justice. Why are wicked people successful? Why do all dishonest people have such easy lives?You plant them like trees and they put down their roots. They grow prosperous and are very fruitful. They always talk about you, but they really care nothing about you.But you, LORD, know all about me. You watch me and test my devotion to you. Drag these wicked men away like sheep to be slaughtered! Appoint a time when they will be killed!

But their prosperity is not their own doing. The counsel of the wicked is far from me!

So then let those who suffer according to the will of God entrust their souls to a faithful Creator as they do good.

But now you are preoccupied with the judgment due the wicked, judgment and justice take hold of you.Be careful that no one entices you with riches; do not let a large bribe turn you aside.

If a land has been given into the hand of a wicked man, he covers the faces of its judges; if it is not he, then who is it?

For the LORD listens to the needy; he does not despise his captive people.

He does not take his eyes off the righteous; but with kings on the throne he seats the righteous and exalts them forever.But if they are bound in chains, and held captive by the cords of affliction,then he reveals to them what they have done, and their transgressions, that they were behaving proudly.

But it was he who filled their houses with good things– yet the counsel of the wicked was far from me.
