The LORD asked Satan,“ Where have you come from?”“ From roaming through the earth,” Satan answered him,“ and walking around on it.”

耶和华问撒但说：“你从哪里来？”撒但回答说：“我从地上走来走去，往返而来。”

耶和华对撒但说：“你从哪里来？”撒但回答耶和华说：“我从地上走来走去，在那里往返。”

耶和华问撒旦：“你从哪里来？”撒旦答道：“我在地上到处游走。”

耶和华问撒但：“你从哪里来？”撒但回答耶和华说：“我在地上徘徊，走来走去。”

耶和華問撒但說：「你從哪裏來？」撒但回答說：「我從地上走來走去，往返而來。」

耶和華問撒旦：「你從哪裡來？」撒旦答道：「我在地上到處遊走。」

耶和華問撒但：“你從哪裡來？”撒但回答耶和華說：“我在地上徘徊，走來走去。”

永恆主問撒但說：『你從哪裏來？』撒但回答永恆主說：『我是漫遊地上、在那上面走來走去、回來的。』

耶和華謂撒但曰、爾奚自、對曰、徧歷塵寰、往來其間而返、

耶和華問撒但曰、汝奚自、對曰、我遍歷塵寰、往來靡定。

主問撒但曰、爾自何來、撒但對主曰、我遨遊徧地、周行地上而來、

The Lord said to Satan,“ Where have you come from?” Satan answered the Lord,“ From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”

The Lord said to Satan,“ Where have you come from?” Satan answered,“ From traveling all around the earth. I’ve been going from one end of it to the other.”

The Lord said to Satan,“ From where have you come?” Satan answered the Lord and said,“ From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking up and down on it.”

“ Where have you come from?” the Lord asked Satan. Satan answered the Lord,“ I have been patrolling the earth, watching everything that’s going on.”

The Lord said to Satan,“ From where do you come?” Satan answered the Lord and said,“ From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it.”

And the Lord said to Satan,“ From where do you come?” So Satan answered the Lord and said,“ From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.”

And Jehovah said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered Jehovah, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

The Lord asked Satan,“ Where have you come from?”“ From roaming through the earth,” Satan answered Him,“ and walking around on it.”

And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

The LORD said to Satan,“ Where have you come from?” And Satan answered the LORD,“ From roving about on the earth, and from walking back and forth across it.”

Yahweh said to Satan,“ Where have you come from?” Then Satan answered Yahweh, and said,“ From going back and forth in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.”

Be sober-minded, be alert. Your adversary the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone he can devour.

Gehazi came and stood by his master.“ Where did you go, Gehazi?” Elisha asked him. He replied,“ Your servant didn’t go anywhere.”

The LORD asked Satan,“ Where have you come from?”“ From roaming through the earth,” Satan answered him,“ and walking around on it.”

“ When an unclean spirit comes out of a person, it roams through waterless places looking for rest but doesn’t find any.

So the great dragon was thrown out— the ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the one who deceives the whole world. He was thrown to earth, and his angels with him.

Therefore rejoice, you heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you with great fury, because he knows his time is short.When the dragon saw that he had been thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who had given birth to the male child.The woman was given two wings of a great eagle, so that she could fly from the serpent’s presence to her place in the wilderness, where she was nourished for a time, times, and half a time.From his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river flowing after the woman, to sweep her away with a flood.But the earth helped the woman. The earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the river that the dragon had spewed from his mouth.So the dragon was furious with the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring— those who keep the commands of God and hold firmly to the testimony about Jesus.

and will go out to deceive the nations at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle. Their number is like the sand of the sea.

Then the man standing among the myrtle trees explained,“ They are the ones the LORD has sent to patrol the earth.”They reported to the angel of the LORD standing among the myrtle trees,“ We have patrolled the earth, and right now the whole earth is calm and quiet.”

As the strong horses went out, they wanted to go patrol the earth, and the LORD said,“ Go, patrol the earth.” So they patrolled the earth.
