So they said to him,“ Who are you?” Jesus said to them,“ Just what I have been telling you from the beginning.

他們問：「你到底是誰？」耶穌回答說：「我不是早就告訴你們了嗎？

他們就問：“你是誰？”耶穌說：“我不是從起初就告訴你們嗎？

於是他們問耶穌說：『你、是誰？』耶穌對他們說：『總而言之，就是我同你們所講論的。

他們問：「你到底是誰？」耶穌說：「我從一開始就告訴你們了。

眾曰、爾為誰、曰、即自始所言於爾者、

眾曰、爾為誰、耶穌曰、我昔言之矣、

眾曰、爾為誰、耶穌曰、即我自始所告爾者、

眾問曰：『爾果誰歟？』耶穌曰：『予乃無始之始、而今為爾說道者是！

“ Who are you?” they asked.“ Just what I have been telling you from the beginning,” Jesus replied.

“ Who are you?” they asked.“ Just what I have been telling you from the beginning,” Jesus replied.

“ Who are you?” they demanded. Jesus replied,“ The one I have always claimed to be.

“ Who are you?” they questioned.“ Exactly what I’ve been telling you from the very beginning,” Jesus told them.

Then they were saying to Him,“ Who are You?” Jesus said to them,“ What have I even been saying to you from the beginning?

Then they said to Him,“ Who are You?” And Jesus said to them,“ Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning.

They said therefore unto him, Who art thou? Jesus said unto them, Even that which I have also spoken unto you from the beginning.

“ Who are You?” they questioned.“ Precisely what I’ve been telling you from the very beginning,” Jesus told them.

Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even[ the same] that I said unto you from the beginning.

So they said to him,“ Who are you?” Jesus replied,“ What I have told you from the beginning.

They said therefore to him,“ Who are you?” Jesus said to them,“ Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning.

And this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him,“ Who are you?”

So they said to him,“ Who are you? We need to give an answer to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?”

He entered his headquarters again and said to Jesus,“ Where are you from?” But Jesus gave him no answer.

So the Jews gathered around him and said to him,“ How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.”

“ If you are the Christ, tell us.” But he said to them,“ If I tell you, you will not believe,

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying,“ I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

But Jesus answered them,“ My Father is working until now, and I am working.”This was why the Jews were seeking all the more to kill him, because not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.So Jesus said to them,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise.For the Father loves the Son and shows him all that he himself is doing. And greater works than these will he show him, so that you may marvel.For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will.For the Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son,that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.“ Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself.And he has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man.Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voiceand come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.
