So His brothers said to Him,“ Move on from here and go into Judea, so that Your disciples also may see Your works which You are doing.

Jesus’ brothers said to him,“ Leave Galilee and go to Judea, so that your disciples there may see the works you do.

While He was still speaking to the crowds, behold, His mother and brothers were standing outside, seeking to speak to Him.

For not even His brothers believed in Him.

Now His mother and brothers came to Him, and they were unable to get to Him because of the crowd.

But when His brothers had gone up to the feast, then He Himself also went up, not publicly, but as though in secret.

Now Eliab his oldest brother heard him when he spoke to the men; and Eliab’s anger burned against David and he said,“ Why is it that you have come down? And with whom have you left those few sheep in the wilderness? I myself know your insolence and the wickedness of your heart; for you have come down in order to see the battle.”

For even your brothers and the household of your father, Even they have dealt treacherously with you, Even they have called aloud after you. Do not believe them, though they say nice things to you.”

Then His mother and His brothers* came, and while standing outside they sent word to Him, calling for Him.

Then Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him even more.He said to them,“ Please listen to this dream which I have had;for behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and behold, my sheaf stood up and also remained standing; and behold, your sheaves gathered around and bowed down to my sheaf.”Then his brothers said to him,“ Are you actually going to reign over us? Or are you really going to rule over us?” So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words.Then he had yet another dream, and informed his brothers of it, and said,“ Behold, I have had yet another dream; and behold, the sun and the moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”He also told it to his father as well as to his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him,“ What is this dream that you have had? Am I and your mother and your brothers actually going to come to bow down to the ground before you?”And his brothers were jealous of him, but his father kept the matter in mind.

Now then, come and let’s kill him, and throw him into one of the pits; and we will say,‘ A vicious animal devoured him.’ Then we will see what will become of his dreams!”

And they* sent their disciples to Him, along with the Herodians, saying,“ Teacher, we know that You are truthful and teach the way of God in truth, and do not care what anyone thinks; for You are not partial to anyone.Tell us then, what do You think? Is it permissible to pay a poll tax to Caesar, or not?”

But Peter, taking his stand with the other eleven, raised his voice and declared to them:“ Men of Judea and all you who live in Jerusalem, know this, and pay attention to my words.
