你看，他公然放膽地講話呢，他們也不向他說甚麼！難道議員們真知道這個人是上帝所膏立者麼？

看，他還在公開講話，他們也沒有對他說什麼。難道首領們真的認為這個人就是基督嗎？

今彼侃侃而談、無與之言者、有司誠知其為基督乎、

今彼明言、而眾莫之禁、豈有司知其誠基督乎、

今彼顯言、而無人斥之、豈有司知其誠為基督乎、

今乃公然施訓、而莫之誰何！豈當局已確認其為基督乎？

Here he is, speaking publicly, and they are not saying a word to him. Have the authorities really concluded that he is the Messiah?

Here he is! He is speaking openly. They aren’t saying a word to him. Have the authorities really decided that he is the Messiah?

And here he is, speaking openly, and they say nothing to him! Can it be that the authorities really know that this is the Christ?

But here he is, speaking in public, and they say nothing to him. Could our leaders possibly believe that he is the Messiah?

Yet, look, he’s speaking publicly and they’re saying nothing to him. Can it be true that the authorities know he is the Messiah?

And yet look, He is speaking publicly, and they are saying nothing to Him. The rulers do not really know that this is the Christ, do they?

But look! He speaks boldly, and they say nothing to Him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is truly the Christ?

And lo, he speaketh openly, and they say nothing unto him. Can it be that the rulers indeed know that this is the Christ?

Yet, look! He’s speaking publicly and they’re saying nothing to Him. Can it be true that the authorities know He is the Messiah?

But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ?

Yet here he is, speaking publicly, and they are saying nothing to him. Do the rulers really know that this man is the Christ?

Behold, he speaks openly, and they say nothing to him. Can it be that the rulers indeed know that this is truly the Christ?

难道首领或法利赛人中有信他的吗？

恶人虽没有人追赶也会逃跑；义人却像少壮狮子无所惧怕。

他们看见彼得和约翰的胆量，又了解他们是没有学问的普通人，就感到惊奇，并且了解他们是曾经与耶稣在一起的；

他不衰残，也不被压服，直到他在地上设立公正；众海岛都期盼他的律法。”

而没有受过他洗礼的法利赛人和律法师们，就弃绝了神对他们的计划。

他的父母说这些话，是因为怕那些犹太人。原来那些犹太人已经说好，如果有人承认耶稣是基督，就要把他赶出会堂。

实际上，神所赐给我们的，不是胆怯的灵，而是大能、慈爱、自制的灵。所以你不要以有关我们主的见证为耻，也不要以我——这主的囚犯为耻，而要藉着神的大能，为福音与我同受苦难。

我的口要终日讲述你的公义和你的拯救——其数无法数算。我因主耶和华的大能而来，我要提说唯属你的公义。

于是祭司长们和法利赛人召集了议会，说：“这个人行了很多神迹，我们该做什么呢？如果任凭他这样下去，大家都会信他，罗马人就会来，夺取我们的圣地和国家！”其中有一个人叫该亚法，是当年的大祭司，对他们说：“你们什么都不懂！也不想一想，一个人替民众死，免得全民族灭亡，这对你们是有益处的。”他说这话不是出于自己，只因他是当年的大祭司，就预言了耶稣要替全民族而死；而且不仅是替犹太民族死，也是要把神的那些四散的儿女都召集合一。从那天起，他们就商议要把耶稣杀掉。

我在广大的会众里传扬公义的佳音；看哪，我不会禁止我的嘴唇！耶和华啊，你是知道的。我没有把你的公义掩藏在心里，我述说了你的信实和拯救，我没有向广大的会众隐瞒你的慈爱和信实。

他们派了自己的门徒们与希律党的人一同去见耶稣，说：“老师，我们知道你是真诚的，并且按真理教导神的道。你不顾忌任何人，因为你不看人的情面。

并且大多数的弟兄因着我所受的捆锁，就在主里深信不疑、无所惧怕，更加大胆地传讲这话语。

因为主耶和华帮助我，所以我不受羞辱，因此我使我的脸坚毅如石；我知道我必不致蒙羞。称我为义的那一位，与我相近；谁敢与我争讼，就让我们一同站起！谁是控告我的，就让他近前来！

不过甚至是首领当中也有许多信耶稣的。但是为了法利赛人的缘故，他们不敢承认，免得被赶出会堂，

也为我祈求，好使我在开口的时候被赐予话语，能坦然无惧地让人明白福音的奥秘——为此，我成了带锁链的特使。请为我祈求，使我能照着应该说的，放胆传道。
