But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe.

Even after Jesus had performed so many signs in their presence, they still would not believe in him. (niv)

Jesus answered,“ Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. (niv)

Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls. (niv)

Yet there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray him. (niv)

So they asked him,“ What sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do? (niv)

“ He said to him,‘ If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’” (niv)

If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. (niv)
