耶稣继续说：“我凭自己不能做什么，我按父上帝的旨意审判，我的审判是公平的；因为我不是按自己的旨意行，而是按差我来者的旨意行。

“我靠着自己不能作什么，我怎样听见，就怎样审判。我的审判是公义的，因为我不寻求自己的意思，只求那差我来者的旨意。

我於己無所能行、惟依所聞而鞫、我鞫乃義、以我不求己旨、求遣我者之旨耳、

我自無所能、惟遵所聞者、而審判之、我審判以義、我不己意是求、乃父遣我者之意也、

我由己無所能行、惟遵所聞而審判、我之審判乃公、蓋我不求己意、乃求父遣我者之意也、

予不能有所擅行、惟依予之所聞、而為黜陟、予既不徇私意、一遵遣予者之意而行故予之黜陟、乃公正無偏。

By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.

I can do nothing by myself. I judge only as I hear. And my judging is fair. I do not try to please myself. I try to please the one who sent me.

“ I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me.

Jesus gave them this answer:“ Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. (niv)

For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. (niv)

“ My food,” said Jesus,“ is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. (niv)

Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. (niv)

Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed,“ My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” (niv)

So Jesus said,“ When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me. (niv)

For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written:“ The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.” (niv)

Then I said,“ Here I am, I have come— it is written about me in the scroll.I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart.” (niv)

and he will delight in the fear of the Lord. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears;but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked. (niv)

Far be it from you to do such a thing— to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. Far be it from you! Will not the Judge of all the earth do right?” (niv)

You judge by human standards; I pass judgment on no one.But if I do judge, my decisions are true, because I am not alone. I stand with the Father, who sent me. (niv)

Jesus commanded Peter,“ Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given me?” (niv)

Samaria’s king will be destroyed, swept away like a twig on the surface of the waters.The high places of wickedness will be destroyed— it is the sin of Israel. Thorns and thistles will grow up and cover their altars. Then they will say to the mountains,“ Cover us!” and to the hills,“ Fall on us!”“ Since the days of Gibeah, you have sinned, Israel, and there you have remained. Will not war again overtake the evildoers in Gibeah?When I please, I will punish them; nations will be gathered against them to put them in bonds for their double sin. (niv)

Jesus said to them,“ If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. (niv)

I am not seeking glory for myself; but there is one who seeks it, and he is the judge. (niv)

Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. (niv)

But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. (niv)

I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. (niv)

Let all creation rejoice before the Lord, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his faithfulness. (niv)
