If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.So it is written, The first man Adam became a living being; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, then the spiritual.The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven.Like the man of dust, so are those who are of the dust; like the man of heaven, so are those who are of heaven.And just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we will also bear the image of the man of heaven.What I am saying, brothers and sisters, is this: Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor can corruption inherit incorruption.Listen, I am telling you a mystery: We will not all fall asleep, but we will all be changed,in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.For this corruptible body must be clothed with incorruptibility, and this mortal body must be clothed with immortality.When this corruptible body is clothed with incorruptibility, and this mortal body is clothed with immortality, then the saying that is written will take place: Death has been swallowed up in victory.

The hand of the LORD was on me, and he brought me out by his Spirit and set me down in the middle of the valley; it was full of bones.He led me all around them. There were a great many of them on the surface of the valley, and they were very dry.Then he said to me,“ Son of man, can these bones live?” I replied,“ Lord GOD, only you know.”He said to me,“ Prophesy concerning these bones and say to them: Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD!This is what the Lord GOD says to these bones: I will cause breath to enter you, and you will live.I will put tendons on you, make flesh grow on you, and cover you with skin. I will put breath in you so that you come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.”So I prophesied as I had been commanded. While I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone.As I looked, tendons appeared on them, flesh grew, and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.He said to me,“ Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man. Say to it: This is what the Lord GOD says: Breath, come from the four winds and breathe into these slain so that they may live!”So I prophesied as he commanded me; the breath entered them, and they came to life and stood on their feet, a vast army.

Martha said to him,“ I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”Jesus said to her,“ I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me, even if he dies, will live.

I will ransom them from the power of Sheol. I will redeem them from death. Death, where are your barbs? Sheol, where is your sting? Compassion is hidden from my eyes.

Do not be amazed that I told you that you must be born again.

He will transform the body of our humble condition into the likeness of his glorious body, by the power that enables him to subject everything to himself.

For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.

Jesus told her,“ Believe me, woman, an hour is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.

For the Father loves the Son and shows him everything he is doing, and he will show him greater works than these so that you will be amazed.
