然而，叫耶穌從死裏復活者的靈若住在你們心裏，那叫基督耶穌從死裏復活的，也必藉着住在你們心裏的聖靈，使你們必死的身體又活過來。

耶穌拉着她的手，呼叫說：「女兒，起來吧！」她的靈魂便回來，她就立刻起來了。耶穌吩咐給她東西吃。

神叫死人復活，你們為甚麼看作不可信的呢？

亞伯拉罕所信的，是那叫死人復活、使無變為有的神，他在主面前作我們世人的父。如經上所記：「我已經立你作多國的父。」他在無可指望的時候，因信仍有指望，就得以作多國的父，正如先前所說：「你的後裔將要如此。」他將近百歲的時候，雖然想到自己的身體如同已死，撒拉的生育已經斷絕，他的信心還是不軟弱；

正如你曾賜給他權柄管理凡有血氣的，叫他將永生賜給你所賜給他的人。

以色列王看了信就撕裂衣服，說：「我豈是神，能使人死使人活呢？這人竟打發人來，叫我治好他的大痲瘋。你們看一看，這人何以尋隙攻擊我呢？」

以利沙來到，進了屋子，看見孩子死了，放在自己的牀上。他就關上門，只有自己和孩子在裏面，他便祈禱耶和華，上牀伏在孩子身上，口對口，眼對眼，手對手；既伏在孩子身上，孩子的身體就漸漸溫和了。然後他下來，在屋裏來往走了一趟，又上去伏在孩子身上，孩子打了七個噴嚏，就睜開眼睛了。

以利亞三次伏在孩子的身上，求告耶和華說：「耶和華－我的神啊，求你使這孩子的靈魂仍入他的身體！」
