In his defense Jesus said to them,“ My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.”

Jesus defended himself. He said to them,“ My Father is always doing his work. He is working right up to this day. I am working too.”

But Jesus answered them,“ My Father is working until now, and I am working.”

But Jesus replied,“ My Father is always working, and so am I.”

Jesus responded to them,“ My Father is still working, and I am working also.”

But He answered them,“ My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working.”

But Jesus answered them,“ My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”

But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh even until now, and I work.

But Jesus responded to them,“ My Father is still working, and I am working also.”

But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.

So he told them,“ My Father is working until now, and I too am working.”

But Jesus answered them,“ My Father is still working, so I am working, too.”

As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. (niv)

Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. (niv)

For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. (niv)

The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. (niv)

Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. (niv)

There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. (niv)

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. (niv)

who formed the mountains by your power, having armed yourself with strength, (niv)

Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing. (niv)

Yet he has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.” (niv)

‘ For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said,‘ We are his offspring.’ (niv)
