And they came unto John, and said to him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond the Jordan, to whom thou hast borne witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.

就来见约翰，对他说：“拉比，从前同你在约旦河的东边，你所见证的那位，你看，他在施洗，众人都到他那里去了。”

就来见约翰，对他说：“拉比，从前同你在约旦河的东边，你所见证的那位，你看，他在施洗，众人都到他那里去了。”

于是门徒来见约翰，说：“老师，你看，以前在约旦河对岸和你在一起、你为祂做见证的那位在给人施洗，众人都去祂那里了！”

他们来到约翰那里，对他说：“拉比，你看，从前和你在约旦河东，你为他作见证的那一位，他也在施洗，众人都到他那里去了。”

他们就到约翰那里，对他说：“拉比，你看，以前与你在约旦河对岸的，就是你所见证的那一位，他也在施洗，而且大家都到他那里去了。”

就來見約翰，說：「拉比，從前同你在約旦河外、你所見證的那位，現在施洗，眾人都往他那裏去了。」

就來見約翰，對他說：「拉比，從前同你在約旦河的東邊，你所見證的那位，你看，他在施洗，眾人都到他那裏去了。」

就來見約翰，對他說：「拉比，從前同你在約旦河的東邊，你所見證的那位，你看，他在施洗，眾人都到他那裏去了。」

於是門徒來見約翰，說：「老師，你看，以前在約旦河對岸和你在一起、你為祂做見證的那位在給人施洗，眾人都去祂那裡了！」

他們來到約翰那裡，對他說：“拉比，你看，從前和你在約旦河東，你為他作見證的那一位，他也在施洗，眾人都到他那裡去了。”

他們來見約翰，對他說：『老師，從前同你在約但河外、你所見證的那一位，你看，這個人正施行洗禮呢，眾人都找他去了。』

他們就到約翰那裡，對他說：「拉比，你看，以前與你在約旦河對岸的，就是你所見證的那一位，他也在施洗，而且大家都到他那裡去了。」

遂詣約翰曰、夫子、昔偕爾於約但外、爾所證者、今施洗、而人皆就之、

就約翰曰、夫子、昔偕爾在約但外、爾所證者、今施洗、而眾就之、

來就約翰曰、拉比、昔偕爾在約但外、爾所證者、今施洗而眾就之、

因共謁如望曰：『夫子曩在約但河外、所為作證者、今亦授洗、人盡趨之。』

They came to John and said to him,“ Rabbi, that man who was with you on the other side of the Jordan— the one you testified about— look, he is baptizing, and everyone is going to him.”

They came to John and here is what they said to him.“ Rabbi, that man who was with you on the other side of the Jordan River is baptizing people. He is the one you told us about. Everyone is going to him.”

And they came to John and said to him,“ Rabbi, he who was with you across the Jordan, to whom you bore witness— look, he is baptizing, and all are going to him.”

So John’s disciples came to him and said,“ Rabbi, the man you met on the other side of the Jordan River, the one you identified as the Messiah, is also baptizing people. And everybody is going to him instead of coming to us.”

So they came to John and told him,“ Rabbi, the one you testified about, and who was with you across the Jordan, is baptizing— and everyone is going to him.”

And they came to John and said to him,“ Rabbi, He who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testified— behold, He is baptizing and all the people are coming to Him.”

And they came to John and said to him,“ Rabbi, He who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testified— behold, He is baptizing, and all are coming to Him!”

So they came to John and told him,“ Rabbi, the One you testified about, and who was with you across the Jordan, is baptizing— and everyone is flocking to Him.”

And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all[ men] come to him.

So they came to John and said to him,“ Rabbi, the one who was with you on the other side of the Jordan River, about whom you testified– see, he is baptizing, and everyone is flocking to him!”

They came to John and said to him,“ Rabbi, he who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testified, behold, he baptizes, and everyone is coming to him.”

The same came for witness, that he might bear witness of the light, that all might believe through him.

The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Behold how ye prevail nothing; lo, the world is gone after him.

By myself have I sworn, the word is gone forth from my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, that unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

But if ye have bitter jealousy and faction in your heart, glory not and lie not against the truth.This wisdom is not a wisdom that cometh down from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.For where jealousy and faction are, there is confusion and every vile deed.But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without variance, without hypocrisy.And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace for them that make peace.

for ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you jealousy and strife, are ye not carnal, and do ye not walk after the manner of men?For when one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not men?What then is Apollos? and what is Paul? Ministers through whom ye believed; and each as the Lord gave to him.

Then I saw all labor and every skilful work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbor. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.

And ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they are no gods, that are made with hands:and not only is there danger that this our trade come into disrepute; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana be made of no account, and that she should even be deposed from her magnificence whom all Asia and the world worshippeth.

John beareth witness of him, and crieth, saying, This was he of whom I said, He that cometh after me is become before me: for he was before me.

Or think ye that the scripture speaketh in vain? Doth the spirit which he made to dwell in us long unto envying?But he giveth more grace. Wherefore the scripture saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.

John answered them, saying, I baptize in water: in the midst of you standeth one whom ye know not,even he that cometh after me, the latchet of whose shoe I am not worthy to unloose.These things were done in Bethany beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing.On the morrow he seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold, the Lamb of God, that taketh away the sin of the world!This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man who is become before me: for he was before me.And I knew him not; but that he should be made manifest to Israel, for this cause came I baptizing in water.And John bare witness, saying, I have beheld the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven; and it abode upon him.And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize in water, he said unto me, Upon whomsoever thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and abiding upon him, the same is he that baptizeth in the Holy Spirit.And I have seen, and have borne witness that this is the Son of God.Again on the morrow John was standing, and two of his disciples;and he looked upon Jesus as he walked, and saith, Behold, the Lamb of God!

If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans will come and take away both our place and our nation.

O thou that hearest prayer, Unto thee shall all flesh come.

idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousies, wraths, factions, divisions, parties,envyings, drunkenness, revellings, and such like; of which I forewarn you, even as I did forewarn you, that they who practise such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

But there remained two men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the Spirit rested upon them; and they were of them that were written, but had not gone out unto the Tent; and they prophesied in the camp.And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp.And Joshua the son of Nun, the minister of Moses, one of his chosen men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them.And Moses said unto him, Art thou jealous for my sake? would that all Jehovah’s people were prophets, that Jehovah would put his Spirit upon them!

There was the true light, even the light which lighteth every man, coming into the world.

the same came unto him by night, and said to him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that thou doest, except God be with him.

As many as desire to make a fair show in the flesh, they compel you to be circumcised; only that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.For not even they who receive circumcision do themselves keep the law; but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.

and the salutations in the marketplaces, and to be called of men, Rabbi.
