Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said,“ It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.

When he had received the drink, Jesus said,“ It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

I glorified You on the earth by accomplishing the work which You have given Me to do.

And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death: death on a cross.

having canceled the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.Therefore, no one is to act as your judge in regard to food and drink, or in respect to a festival or a new moon, or a Sabbath day—things which are only a shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.

“ Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the wrongdoing, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for guilt, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy Place.

But Jesus let out a loud cry, and died.

And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said,“ Father, into Your hands I entrust My spirit.” And having said this, He died.

But the Lord desired To crush Him, causing Him grief; If He renders Himself as a guilt offering, He will see His offspring, He will prolong His days, And the good pleasure of the Lord will prosper in His hand.

But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things having come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made by hands, that is, not of this creation;and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all time, having obtained eternal redemption.For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled, sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh,how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

“ I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.

looking only at Jesus, the originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and gave up His spirit.

After this, Jesus, knowing that all things had already been accomplished, in order that the Scripture would be fulfilled,* said,“ I am thirsty.”

just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

For Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it back. This commandment I received from My Father.”

Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great, And He will divide the plunder with the strong, Because He poured out His life unto death, And was counted with wrongdoers; Yet He Himself bore the sin of many, And interceded for the wrongdoers.

My strength is dried up like a piece of pottery, And my tongue clings to my jaws; And You lay me in the dust of death.

Jesus* said to them,“ My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to accomplish His work.

And almost all things are cleansed with blood, according to the Law, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.Therefore it was necessary for the copies of the things in the heavens to be cleansed with these things, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.For Christ did not enter a holy place made by hands, a mere copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;nor was it that He would offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Holy Place year by year with blood that is not his own.Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now once at the consummation of the ages He has been revealed to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.And just as it is destined for people to die once, and after this comes judgment,so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.For the Law, since it has only a shadow of the good things to come and not the form of those things itself, can never, by the same sacrifices which they offer continually every year, make those who approach perfect.Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, because the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have had consciousness of sins?But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year.For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.Therefore, when He comes into the world, He says,“ You have not desired sacrifice and offering, But You have prepared a body for Me;You have not taken pleasure in whole burnt offerings and offerings for sin.Then I said,‘ Behold, I have come( It is written of Me in the scroll of the book) To do Your will, O God.’ ”After saying above,“ Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and offerings for sin You have not desired, nor have You taken pleasure in them”( which are offered according to the Law),then He said,“ Behold, I have come to do Your will.” He takes away the first in order to establish the second.By this will, we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all time.Every priest stands daily ministering and offering time after time the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins;but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God,waiting from that time onward until His enemies are made a footstool for His feet.For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified.

Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, so that through death He might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil,and free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.

But Jesus, answering, said to him,“ Allow it at this time; for in this way it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he* allowed Him.

whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in God’s merciful restraint He let the sins previously committed go unpunished;

And I will make enemies Of you and the woman, And of your offspring and her Descendant; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise Him on the heel.”

Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed.

Then after the sixty two weeks, the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined.

“ Awake, sword, against My Shepherd, And against the Man, My Associate,” Declares the Lord of armies.“ Strike the Shepherd and the sheep will be scattered; And I will turn My hand against the little ones.
