saying,‘ The Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men, be crucified, and rise on the third day’?”And they remembered His words.

Again the Jews picked up rocks to stone Him.

“ We aren’t stoning You for a good work,” the Jews answered,“ but for blasphemy, because You— being a man— make Yourself God.”

They were stoning Stephen as he called out:“ Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!”
