And when he had said this, one of the officers standing by struck Jesus with his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so?

When He had said these things, one of the temple police standing by slapped Jesus, saying,“ Is this the way you answer the high priest?”

And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so?

When Jesus had said this, one of the high priest’s officers who stood nearby struck him on the face and said,“ Is that the way you answer the high priest?”

大祭司亞拿尼亞吩咐旁邊站着的人擊打他的嘴。於是保羅對他說：『粉飾的牆，上帝將要擊打你了！你，你坐着審判我，是按律法的，竟違背律法命令人擊打我啊！』旁邊站着的人說：『上帝的大祭司、你辱罵麼？』保羅說：『弟兄們，我不知道他是大祭司啊；當然囉，經上記着說：「不可說壞話罵你人民的官長啊。」』

接續地來到他面前說：『猶太人的王，萬歲！』直給他耳刮子。

他們厭惡我，遠避着我；一見面、就向我吐唾沫，毫不檢束。上帝既鬆開我的弓弦來挫折我，他們就在我面前脫去轡頭而放縱。卑鄙的種在我右邊起來攻擊我，推開我的腳，築起他們災難的路來害我。

便吐唾沬在他臉上，用拳頭打他；有人給他一個耳刮子，說：『基督啊，對我們說豫言吧！打你的是誰？』

羈押耶穌的人戲弄他，打他，又蒙着他的眼，問他說：『說豫言吧；打你的是誰？』

民兵隊小姐啊，現在你聚集成隊哦！仇敵正在圍攻我們呢；他們用棍子擊打以色列執政者的嘴巴。

他們張開了口來侮弄我，擊打我的嘴巴來羞辱我，集為一羣來攻擊我。

巴施戶珥就擊打神言人耶利米，將他枷在便雅憫上門內的枷架上；這門是在永恆主的殿內。

有幾個人開始向他吐唾沫，蒙着他的臉，用拳頭打他，對他說：『你說豫言吧！』差役用耳刮子把他拉過去。

於是猶大領了兵隊、和祭司長跟法利賽人的差役，帶着燈籠火把和武器來到那裏。

主永恆主開啓我的耳朵，我並沒有違背，也沒有退後。我將我的背脊給擊打的人擊打，將我的腮頰給拔鬍鬚的人扯拔，我並沒有掩面以躲避羞辱，而免被吐唾沬。主永恆主幫助着我，故此我不狼狽周章；故此我板着臉好像硬石頭，我知道我必不至於失望；
