So Jesus said to Peter,“ Put your sword into its sheath; shall I not drink the cup that the Father has given me?”

耶稣就对彼得说：“收刀入鞘吧，我父所给我的那杯，我岂可不喝呢？”

于是耶稣对彼得说：“收刀入鞘吧！我父给我的杯，我岂可不喝呢？”

于是耶稣对彼得说：“收刀入鞘吧！我父给我的杯，我岂可不喝呢？”

耶稣对彼得说：“收刀入鞘吧！我父赐给我的杯，我怎能不喝呢？”

耶稣对彼得说：“把刀收入鞘里去！父给我的杯，我怎能不喝呢？”

耶稣就对彼得说：“把刀收回鞘里！父所赐给我的杯，我难道能不喝吗？”

耶穌就對彼得說：「收刀入鞘吧，我父所給我的那杯，我豈可不喝呢？」

於是耶穌對彼得說：「收刀入鞘吧！我父給我的杯，我豈可不喝呢？」

於是耶穌對彼得說：「收刀入鞘吧！我父給我的杯，我豈可不喝呢？」

耶穌對彼得說：「收刀入鞘吧！我父賜給我的杯，我怎能不喝呢？」

耶穌對彼得說：“把刀收入鞘裡去！父給我的杯，我怎能不喝呢？”

於是耶穌對彼得說：『收刀入鞘！父給了我的杯、難道我不喝麼？』

耶穌就對彼得說：「把刀收回鞘裡！父所賜給我的杯，我難道能不喝嗎？」

耶穌語彼得曰、韜爾刀、父予我之杯、我不飲乎、○

耶穌謂彼得曰、鞱爾刀、父所予我之杯、豈不飲乎、

耶穌謂彼得曰、收爾刀入鞘、父所予我之杯、我豈不飲乎、○

耶穌謂伯鐸祿曰『收刃入鞘、父所賜我之爵、可不飲乎？』

Jesus commanded Peter,“ Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given me?”

Jesus commanded Peter,“ Put your sword away! Shouldn’t I drink the cup of suffering the Father has given me?”

But Jesus said to Peter,“ Put your sword back into its sheath. Shall I not drink from the cup of suffering the Father has given me?”

At that, Jesus said to Peter,“ Put your sword away! Am I not to drink the cup the Father has given me?”

So Jesus said to Peter,“ Put the sword into the sheath; the cup which the Father has given Me, am I not to drink it?”

So Jesus said to Peter,“ Put your sword into the sheath. Shall I not drink the cup which My Father has given Me?”

Jesus therefore said unto Peter, Put up the sword into the sheath: the cup which the Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?

At that, Jesus said to Peter,“ Sheathe your sword! Am I not to drink the cup the Father has given Me?”

Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?

But Jesus said to Peter,“ Put your sword back into its sheath! Am I not to drink the cup that the Father has given me?”

Jesus therefore said to Peter,“ Put the sword into its sheath. The cup which the Father has given me, shall I not surely drink it?”

Jesus answered,“ You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am to drink?” They said to him,“ We are able.”

And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying,“ My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”

saying,“ Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.”

looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

“ Now is my soul troubled. And what shall I say?‘ Father, save me from this hour’? But for this purpose I have come to this hour.Father, glorify your name.” Then a voice came from heaven:“ I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.”

Again, for the second time, he went away and prayed,“ My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, your will be done.”

Jesus said to them,“ You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I drink, or to be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized?”And they said to him,“ We are able.” And Jesus said to them,“ The cup that I drink you will drink, and with the baptism with which I am baptized, you will be baptized,

And going a little farther, he fell on the ground and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.And he said,“ Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”

If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love.

Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.

For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.

For all the nations of the world seek after these things, and your Father knows that you need them.

Jesus answered,“ My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.”

Jesus said to her,“ Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them,‘ I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

You have gone the way of your sister; therefore I will give her cup into your hand.

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,

For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup with foaming wine, well mixed, and he pours out from it, and all the wicked of the earth shall drain it down to the dregs.

For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry,“ Abba! Father!”The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,and if children, then heirs— heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons?“ My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him.For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives.”It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.Besides this, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live?For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, that we may share his holiness.

by truthful speech, and the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left;

So they took away the stone. And Jesus lifted up his eyes and said,“ Father, I thank you that you have heard me.I knew that you always hear me, but I said this on account of the people standing around, that they may believe that you sent me.”
