At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name.

是日爾將無所問於予矣。予切實語爾爾有所祈於父、父必以予名義、賜之於爾。

In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.

When that day comes, you will no longer ask me for anything. What I’m about to tell you is true. My Father will give you anything you ask for in my name.

In that day you will ask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you.

“ In that day you will not ask me anything. Truly I tell you, anything you ask the Father in my name, he will give you.

And on that day you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you.

“ And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.

And in that day ye shall ask me no question. Verily, verily, I say unto you, If ye shall ask anything of the Father, he will give it you in my name.

In that day you will not ask Me anything.“ I assure you: Anything you ask the Father in My name, He will give you.

And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give[ it] you.

At that time you will ask me nothing. I tell you the solemn truth, whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you.

“ In that day you will ask me no questions. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you.

But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!

And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.If you see a fellow believer sinning in a way that does not lead to death, you should pray, and God will give that person life. But there is a sin that leads to death, and I am not saying you should pray for those who commit it.

You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”

I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!

You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father.Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!

And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus.By his death, Jesus opened a new and life giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place.And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house,let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.

When I am raised to life again, you will know that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.

“ Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.

Then you will ask in my name. I’m not saying I will ask the Father on your behalf,

I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.

Jesus realized they wanted to ask him about it, so he said,“ Are you asking yourselves what I meant? I said in a little while you won’t see me, but a little while after that you will see me again.

Simon Peter asked,“ Lord, where are you going?” And Jesus replied,“ You can’t go with me now, but you will follow me later.”“ But why can’t I come now, Lord?” he asked.“ I’m ready to die for you.”

My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous.

Now all of us can come to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us.

When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father,the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth.I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.

“ No, we don’t know, Lord,” Thomas said.“ We have no idea where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

Judas( not Judas Iscariot, but the other disciple with that name) said to him,“ Lord, why are you going to reveal yourself only to us and not to the world at large?”

Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf.He is the kind of high priest we need because he is holy and blameless, unstained by sin. He has been set apart from sinners and has been given the highest place of honor in heaven.

So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe.This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin.So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

Now we understand that you know everything, and there’s no need to question you. From this we believe that you came from God.”

For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity— the man Christ Jesus.He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time.

Peter turned around and saw behind them the disciple Jesus loved— the one who had leaned over to Jesus during supper and asked,“ Lord, who will betray you?”Peter asked Jesus,“ What about him, Lord?”
