有幾個門徒彼此說：「他對我們說『不久，你們將不再見到我；再過不久，你們還要見到我』；又說『因我到父那裏去』。這是甚麼意思呢？」

有几个门徒就彼此说：“他对我们说：‘等不多时，你们就不得见我；再等不多时，你们还要见我’；又说：‘因我往父那里去。’这是什么意思呢？”

有几个门徒彼此说：“他对我们说‘不久，你们将不再见到我；再过不久，你们还要见到我’；又说‘因我到父那里去’。这是什么意思呢？”

有几个门徒彼此说：“他对我们说‘不久，你们将不再见到我；再过不久，你们还要见到我’；又说‘因我到父那里去’。这是什么意思呢？”

几个门徒彼此议论说：“祂说，‘不久，你们就见不到我了，再过不久，你们还会看见我’，祂又说，‘因为我要去父那里’，这到底是什么意思呢？

于是他的门徒中有几个彼此说：“他对我们说：‘不久，你们不会看见我；再过不久，你们还要看见我。’又说：‘因为我到父那里去。’这是什么意思呢？”

于是他的门徒当中有的彼此问：“他对我们说‘过一会儿，你们就看不到我了；再过一会儿，你们又将见到我’，还说‘是因为我要到父那里去’，这是什么意思呢？”

於是他門徒中就彼此說：『他對我們說「一會兒、你們就不得以見我；再一會兒你們就得以見我」；又說，「因為我往父那裏去」：這是甚麼意思呢？』

於是他的門徒當中有的彼此問：「他對我們說『過一會兒，你們就看不到我了；再過一會兒，你們又將見到我』，還說『是因為我要到父那裡去』，這是什麼意思呢？」

其徒或相語曰、彼云、頃之不見我、又頃之復見我、且云、因我歸父、此言何也、

門徒相語曰、彼云、頃之不見我、復頃之見我、又云、以我歸父、斯語何歟、

門徒數人相語曰、師云、未幾爾不見我、又未幾爾復見我、且云、我歸於父、是語何也、

門徒乃相語曰：『師曰：「瞬息之間、不得睹予、復一瞬息、又得見予、」又言「予今歸父」者、果何謂耶？』

At this, some of his disciples said to one another,“ What does he mean by saying,‘ In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me,’ and‘ Because I am going to the Father’?”

After they heard this, some of his disciples spoke to one another. They said,“ What does he mean by saying,‘ In a little while, you will no longer see me. Then after a little while, you will see me’? And what does he mean by saying,‘ I am going to the Father’?”

So some of his disciples said to one another,“ What is this that he says to us,‘ A little while, and you will not see me, and again a little while, and you will see me’; and,‘ because I am going to the Father’?”

Some of the disciples asked each other,“ What does he mean when he says,‘ In a little while you won’t see me, but then you will see me,’ and‘ I am going to the Father’?

Then some of his disciples said to one another,“ What is this he’s telling us:‘ In a little while, you will not see me; again in a little while, you will see me,’ and,‘ Because I am going to the Father’?”

So some of His disciples said to one another,“ What is this that He is telling us,‘ A little while, and you are not going to see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me’; and,‘ because I am going to the Father’?”

Then some of His disciples said among themselves,“ What is this that He says to us,‘ A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me’; and,‘ because I go to the Father’?”

Some of his disciples therefore said one to another, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye behold me not; and again a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?

Therefore some of His disciples said to one another,“ What is this He tells us:‘ A little while and you will not see Me; again a little while and you will see Me’; and,‘ because I am going to the Father’?”

Then said[ some] of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?

Then some of his disciples said to one another,“ What is the meaning of what he is saying,‘ In a little while you will not see me; again after a little while, you will see me,’ and,‘ because I am going to the Father’?”

Some of his disciples therefore said to one another,“ What is this that he says to us,‘ A little while, and you won’t see me, and again a little while, and you will see me;’ and,‘ Because I go to the Father’?”

門徒卻不明白這話，又不敢問他。

現在我要到差我來的父那裏去，你們中間卻沒有人問我『你去哪裏？』

「不久，你們將不再見到我；再過不久，你們還要見到我。」

「我對你們說了這些事，是要使你們不至於跌倒。

多馬對他說：「主啊，我們不知道你去哪裏，怎麼能知道那條路呢？」

耶穌看出他們要問他，就對他們說：「我說『不久，你們將不再見到我；再過不久，你們還要見到我』，你們為這話彼此詢問嗎？

猶大（不是加略人猶大）問耶穌：「主啊，為甚麼親自向我們顯現，而不向世人顯現呢？」

這些事門徒一點也不明白，這話的意思對他們是隱藏的；他們不知道所說的是甚麼。

門徒將這話存記在心，彼此議論「從死人中復活」是甚麼意思。

門徒當初不明白這些事，等到耶穌得了榮耀後才想起這些話是指他寫的，並且人們果然對他做了這些事。

門徒卻不明白這話，其中的意思對他們隱藏着，使他們不能明白，他們也不敢問這話的意思。
