我由父將遣於爾之保慰者、即真理之神、由父而出者、彼既至、必為我作證、

但我要从父那里差保惠师来，就是从父出来真理的圣灵；他来了，就要为我作见证。

“我将从父那里派遣慰助者来，他就是从父而来的真理的灵。他来的时候，将为我做见证。

予當自聖父遣發保慰恩師於爾、保慰恩師非他、即真道之神發自聖父者是。彼至必為予作證、

“ When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father— the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father— he will testify about me.

“ I will send the Friend to you from the Father. He is the Spirit of truth, who comes out from the Father. When the Friend comes to help you, he will be a witness about me.

“ But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.

“ But I will send you the Advocate— the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me.

“ When the Counselor comes, the one I will send to you from the Father— the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father— he will testify about me.

“ When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, namely, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, He will testify about Me,

“ But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall bear witness of me:

“ When the Counselor comes, the One I will send to you from the Father— the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father— He will testify about Me.

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father,[ even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

When the Advocate comes, whom I will send you from the Father– the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father– he will testify about me,

“ When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.

惟保慰者、即聖神、父因我名而遣之者、必將以一切訓爾、且使爾憶凡我所語爾者、

我將求父、父必別以保慰者保慰者原文作巴拉基利土下同賜爾、偕爾永居、即真理之神、世不能接之、以其未之見、亦未之識也、惟爾識之、因彼偕爾居、亦將在爾衷、

我儕為主為此事之證、天主賜信從者之聖神、亦為證、

迨真理之神至、必導爾悉明真理、因彼非由己而言、乃以所聞者言之、亦以未來之事示爾、彼將榮我、因彼以屬我者示爾、凡父所有者亦屬我、故我云、彼必以屬我者示爾、

此天主之子耶穌基督、以水以血臨世、不但以水、乃以水又以血、作證者乃聖神、蓋聖神真實也、在天作證者三、父也、道也、聖神也、此三者為一、在地作證者三、聖神也、水也、血也、此三者歸一、有原文抄本七八二節祗有作證者三水也血也聖神也此三者歸一五句此乃天主之證、證其子者、人之證我尚納之、天主之證更大、信天主之子者、有此證在其心、不信天主之子者、則以天主之言為誑、因不信天主證其子之證、

如是證基督道之證、堅立於爾中、

此耶穌、天主已使之復活、我皆為之作證、耶穌既高舉在天主右、受父所許之聖神、即以此降賦、是爾所見所聞者、

天使以生命水之河示我、其水明淨、澄澈如水晶、自天主及羔之寶座而出、

且識人心之天主、以聖神賜異邦人、如賜我儕然、以為彼作證、

我誠告爾、我往、則為爾益、因我不往、則保慰者不來就爾、我若往、則必遣之就爾、

我將以我父所許者賜爾、當居於耶路撒冷城、待自上賜爾以權焉、○

且天主循己旨、以諸異跡奇事、及諸異能、並聖神恩賜、共證此道、○

耶穌曰、若天主為爾父、則必愛我、因我由天主而出、由天主而來、我非自擅而來、乃天主遣我也、
