“我将从父那里派遣慰助者来，他就是从父而来的真理的灵。他来的时候，将为我做见证。

但我要从父那里差保惠师来，就是从父出来真理的圣灵；他来了，就要为我作见证。

“但我要从父那里差保惠师来，就是从父出来的那真理的灵，他来的时候要为我作见证。

“但我要从父那里差保惠师来，就是从父出来的那真理的灵，他来的时候要为我作见证。

“我要从父那里为你们差护慰者来，祂就是从父而来的真理之灵。祂来了要为我做见证。

“我从父那里要差来给你们的保惠师，就是从父那里出来的真理的灵，他来到的时候，要为我作见证。

但我要從父那裏差保惠師來，就是從父出來真理的聖靈；他來了，就要為我作見證。

「但我要從父那裏差保惠師來，就是從父出來的那真理的靈，他來的時候要為我作見證。

「但我要從父那裏差保惠師來，就是從父出來的那真理的靈，他來的時候要為我作見證。

「我要從父那裡為你們差護慰者來，祂就是從父而來的真理之靈。祂來了要為我做見證。

“我從父那裡要差來給你們的保惠師，就是從父那裡出來的真理的靈，他來到的時候，要為我作見證。

但那幫助者、我從父那裏所要差來找你們的、真理之靈、從父而出的，那一位來的時候、就要為我作見證了。

但我自父將遣於爾之保惠師、即出於父真理之神、既至、必為我證、

我所遣之保惠師、即真理之神、由父出者、既至、必為我證、

我由父將遣於爾之保慰者、即真理之神、由父而出者、彼既至、必為我作證、

予當自聖父遣發保慰恩師於爾、保慰恩師非他、即真道之神發自聖父者是。彼至必為予作證、

“ When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father— the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father— he will testify about me.

“ I will send the Friend to you from the Father. He is the Spirit of truth, who comes out from the Father. When the Friend comes to help you, he will be a witness about me.

“ But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.

“ But I will send you the Advocate— the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me.

“ When the Counselor comes, the one I will send to you from the Father— the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father— he will testify about me.

“ When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, namely, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, He will testify about Me,

“ But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall bear witness of me:

“ When the Counselor comes, the One I will send to you from the Father— the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father— He will testify about Me.

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father,[ even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

When the Advocate comes, whom I will send you from the Father– the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father– he will testify about me,

“ When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.

但那位慰助者，就是父以我的名所要派遣的圣灵，将要把一切的事教导你们，并且让你们想起我对你们说过的一切。

我也要向父祈求，他就将赐给你们另一位慰助者，让他与你们在一起，直到永远。他就是真理的灵，是世界不能接受的，因为世界看不到他，也不认识他。而你们认识他，因为他与你们同在，并且要在你们里面。

我们就是这些事的见证人。神所赐给那些顺从他之人的圣灵也一同做见证。”

不过当那位真理的灵来了，他就会引导你们进入一切真理。那时，他不会凭着自己说话，只把所听到的说出来，并且把那些就要来的事传讲给你们。他将荣耀我，因为他将从我领受，并传讲给你们。父所拥有的一切，都是我的。所以我说，圣灵将从我领受，并传讲给你们。

藉着水和血而来的那一位，就是耶稣基督，不仅藉着水，也藉着水和血；并且圣灵是做见证的那一位，因为圣灵就是真理。原来，做见证的有三者：圣灵、水和血；而这三者是一致的。我们既然接受人的见证，神的见证就更应该接受了，因为这是神的见证，就是神为他的儿子所做的见证。那信神儿子的，就有这见证在他里面；那不信神的，就把神当做说谎者，因为他不相信神为自己的儿子所做的见证。

正如有关基督的见证在你们中间得以确立，

“这位耶稣，神已经使他复活了。我们都是这事的见证人。他被高举在神的右边，从父领受了所应许的圣灵，就将圣灵倾注了下来。这正是你们现在所看见所听见的。

接着，天使给我看一条生命水的河，明亮如水晶，从神和羔羊的宝座流出来，

于是那洞察人心的神，赐圣灵给他们做了见证，就像为我们做的那样；

但我把真相告诉你们：我离去对你们是有益处的，因为我如果不去，慰助者就不会到你们这里来；如果我去了，我就会派遣他到你们这里来。

看哪！我要将我父所应许的差派到你们那里。不过你们要留在城里，直到领受了从上面来的能力。”

神又照着自己的旨意，用神迹、奇事和各种大能，以及圣灵的各种恩赐，与他们一同见证。

耶稣说：“如果神是你们的父，你们就会爱我，因为我是出于神，并且从神那里来。要知道，我并不是凭自己而来的，而是那一位差派了我。
