Little children, let’s not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.We will know by this that we are of the truth, and will set our heart at ease before Him,that if our heart condemns us, that God is greater than our heart, and He knows all things.Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God;and whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us.The one who keeps His commandments remains in Him, and He in him. Judas( not Iscariot)* said to Him,“ Lord, what has happened that You are going to reveal Yourself to us and not to the world?”Jesus answered and said to him,“ If anyone loves Me, he will follow My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.The one who does not love Me does not follow My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.

But He said,“ On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and follow it.”

Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they will have the right to the tree of life, and may enter the city by the gates.

You are My friends if you do what I command you.

I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and You loved them, just as You loved Me.

The nations will see your righteousness, And all kings your glory; And you will be called by a new name Which the mouth of the Lord will designate.You will also be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord, And a royal headband in the hand of your God.It will no longer be said to you,“ Forsaken,” Nor to your land will it any longer be said,“ Desolate”; But you will be called,“ My delight is in her,” And your land,“ Married”; For the Lord delights in you, And to Him your land will be married.For as a young man marries a virgin, So your sons will marry you; And as the groom rejoices over the bride, So your God will rejoice over you.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.

and the Scripture was fulfilled which says,“ And Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called a friend of God.You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.

The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and a new name written on the stone which no one knows except the one who receives it.’

“ Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord,“ when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah,

The Lord your God is in your midst, A victorious warrior. He will rejoice over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.

But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be fully accomplished, and that all the Gentiles might hear; and I was rescued out of the lion’s mouth.The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died;and He died for all, so that those who live would no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose on their behalf.

Live for a time in this land and I will be with you and bless you, for to you and to your descendants I will give all these lands, and I will establish the oath which I swore to your father Abraham.I will multiply your descendants as the stars of heaven, and will give your descendants all these lands; and by your descendants all the nations of the earth shall be blessed,because Abraham obeyed Me and fulfilled his duty to Me, and kept My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.”

“ For this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the Lord:“ I will put My law within them and write it on their heart; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.They will not teach again, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying,‘ Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the Lord,“ for I will forgive their wrongdoing, and their sin I will no longer remember.”

May those shout for joy and rejoice, who take delight in my vindication; And may they say continually,“ The Lord be exalted, Who delights in the prosperity of His servant.”

See how great a love the Father has given us, that we would be called children of God; and in fact we are. For this reason the world does not know us: because it did not know Him.

“ I will not leave you as orphans; I am coming to you.

And the Lord said to Paul by a vision at night,“ Do not be afraid any longer, but go on speaking and do not be silent;for I am with you, and no one will attack you to harm you, for I have many people in this city.”And he settled there for a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

and I saw Him saying to me,‘ Hurry and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not accept your testimony about Me.’

He will glorify Me, for He will take from Mine and will disclose it to you.

But we all, with unveiled faces, looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you.

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace,

Concerning this I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might leave me.
